Rodeel Fishing Tackle Bags - Fishing Bags for Saltwater or Freshwater Fishing

I purchased this bag actually to hold my bow hunting accessories. Purchased one small tackle box separately to organize various things and still plenty of room in the main compartment after putting that in there. Pair of gloves, small first aid kit… I won’t bore you with all the specifics of everything I put inside but what you need to know is this thing has a ton of pockets to really organize your gear how you want it. Zippers feel solid, bungee cord on top seems like it’ll last although I don’t have much use for it other than maybe putting my hat on there once in a blue. The “feet” is what attracted me most to this bag as I knew I’d be placing it on wet grass or a wet tailgate many times and didn’t want to worry about it soaking everything up and I’m not disappointed. The clear compartment underneath the lid is very handy for those few small things you don’t want to get lost at the bottom of a regular zippered compartment. If I had to name one complaint it would be that I just wish the lid itself was a tiny bit more rigid. Only so that when you open the main compartment and flip the lid over it would just kind of flop over and stay in place more easily without wanting to flop back shut. Honestly not a big deal at all and for all the pros I don’t think that one con should scare you away from this bag. I haven’t filled it up with a ton of weight and doubt that I will BUT the long shoulder carry strap is pretty comfortable. I usually just end up carrying it by the handles but thought some people may care to know that.

I bought this to replace a larger size Mossy Oak bag, After 10 years the zippers were really stiff and almost unusable and it had become really floppy and annoying to use. I was looking for something narrower with stiff sides that would fit between my legs and still hold all my gear. The floppy sides of the old bag made everything heavy fall to the bottom and digging around in it in the kayak became a chore. After researching every bag I could find online this seemed to be the answer. I was not disappointed.It fits every thing the full size Mossy Oak bag did in a narrower and rugged footprint. It has stiff sides to retain it's form and just as many pockets and dividers within them. I had to switch from 1 plano 3700 to 2 3600's but I still have room to spare as it holds a few more. I use the extra space for terminal tackle, binoculars, gloves, sunscreen, scale,10 bags of soft plastics, tools etc. It makes accessing my gear in my sit-in easier and since the shoulder strap is removable it's one less thing in my way. The zippers are smooth and the quality overall seems top-notch. I'm very happy with it's slightly smaller size, well thought out design and durable construction. I highly recommend this product.

I will use this as a kit for stage management and it has so many pockets and so much room for tackle boxes !!

Bag was smaller than expected, and does not come with trays like shown in picture. I could have bought a bigger bag with trays for same price at retail store. Not very satisfied with price for product.

I needed a new tackle bag but I didn't need the crappy trays they come with. I've bought a few of the new double-sided boxes that are very space efficient and I will continue to use them. The add-in trays would simply get given away or trashed. This bag came with no trays for a good price so that pretty much sealed the deal. However, when I got it I was just expecting a slightly fancy bag but was pleasantly surprised. The hard top and inner lid compartment are really nice touches. The only so-so features are the tall side pockets. They don't expand enough to put much in. The molle straps on the front are great for keeping pliers, hook remover, etc at hand. And if you fill it with enough stuff it can actually serve as a small table. Very nice.

Great storage capacity for 3600 size containers, was able to fix 6 easily, think I can fit one more. Even more room in outside pockets, some zippered. Seems well made, I expect decent water resistance based on construction. I will be using while salt water fishing on a boat.

Save money and do not buy the one with trays they already have pre-drilled holes in them great tackle bag though

im glad that my boxes from my old bag fit. it had enough room to transfer all of my tackle. appears durable. im happy with my choice…

I love the bag and it is plenty big enough for all my fly fishing gear and a packed lunch. The shoulder strap is comfortable and long enough to get over my head even with a baseball cap on.When it doesnt have a packed lunch inside it is big enough to hold my fishing vest and bass bag which is great for storage on the days when I'm not fishing.Unfortunately I have to knock a star off because in very rainy weather the water pooled up on the lid flap and the zip did allow water into the bag and the plastic base prevented it from draining out, so i was left with a puddle of water an inch deep in my bag that I had to pour into the lake.In a perfect world, i would like to see some kind of rain flap that covers the zips and stops water from getting to them.It was an extremely wet day though and any bag would have suffered so I still consider this a great purchase and I will look to get a cheap elasticated rain cover for those really wet days.On other less soaking wet days the bag has held up great.

Absolutely fantastic kit bag. Really well made and during a recent fishing trip in the poring rain it kept all my stuff dry. Would recommend this all day. I purchased the 4 tray option so room for all the small bits one needs. Plenty of room and would not hesitate to recommend.

Love this bag and comes with boxes, can get so much in this bag, perfect for walking up and down the river searching for those elusive barbel. really well made to, great quality
