I pranked my husband big time with this box.He was totally convinced it was real.He looked at it and said, "Oh. Wow!" (totally forced smile that was so transparent it wasn't even worth the effort IMO. Then he opened it (at my urging) and that was the best part!These things are genius...so realistic!!! And so funny too. They remind me of those airline catalog spoof books.So -basically, most people that receive these will look at it, try to figure out what to say/do, and then put the box down. You CAN'T let them move on to the next gift/subject. So my advice is to say something like, "It's amazing that they fit all of that in the box! Open it up and see for yourself!" That's the FUN part -when they realize it's a joke. Then they giggle, a mixture of embarrassment and relief. I won't call them naive, because there's so many REAL As Seen on TV-type gifts that are the same, and the packaging is so darned convincing that nearly ANYONE will fall for it. hell, I'd fall for it if I had no idea what it was, but I'd also open the box to see the coolness for myself, because that's normally what I'd do.Speaking of, when the person opens the box, they might see a two side flaps, one says "PRANK YOU" and the other "You've been pranked". But having given three of these out, NO ONE except my husband saw THE HUGE BLACK ON YELLOW LETTERS upon opening it. I contribute that to the shock thing.I've heard that these are at Walmart for less, so I'm gonna have to check that out. I think this would be a FANTASTIC part of a white elephant gift, or a birthday, or anywhere there's a crowd, seriously. It's that good.It's hilarious. But once you prank someone, the jig is up.The box is good enough it can be reused a few times or kept for display. I encouraged my recipients to prank someone else so the fun could continue on...it's kind of like a prank it forward of sorts!Oh, and this is made in the USA. So I have NO PROBLEM paying for these.And regarding the cost, don't sweat it. A greeting card can set you back as much. And the graphics are so awesome and well done, it's more than worth it for the chaos that ensues.

Bought this to wrap husband’s birthday gift as we were planning a big road trip. It got the laughs I was hoping for and would absolutely recommend.

Clever humor

This was the funniest thing ever! I got this to put my mother's paint brushes and paint in. When she opened it, she just stood there, expressionless, for almost a full minute. Everyone else however was roaring with laughter. She had no idea what to say. Once she snapped out of the shock of such an amazing, useful gift, she lost it. She looked up at me and exploded with laughter. We were crying. My ribs hurt. I couldn't breathe. I went into a coughing fit and almost died. It was great. When she opened the box she lost it even harder. She almost threw it at me LOL. Needless to say, she loved the box, and she loved her painting supplies inside the box! These are fantastic!

The box is hilarious. It’s professionally designed and is almost convincing despite the insanely absurd device you’re supposed to bolt to your cars wheel to make ice cream. It’s a little small at 11x9x3 but large enough for a few books and some trinkets. The only thing missing on these boxes is the “AS SEEN ON TV!” logo.I used this box to hold a birthday gift for a friend and she fell for it once again! (Last year I used the Prank Pack Pet Petter and it was so funny it almost created a mini-riot at the birthday gathering.) This time she looked surprised when she unwrapped it but almost saw it was a prank. Everyone enjoyed the prank and the box got passed around.Just like last time, she kept the box and will use it to prank somebody else for Christmas.

So I got this as an impulse by for my brother in laws Christmas gifts.. I thought it would be hilarious for him to open one of his gifts like this. It would fit maybe one shirt in there., which isn’t why I returned it. I realized that spending $10 on a stupid box to wrap the gift that I actually spend too much on wasn’t a good value to money. I always spend too much at Christmas. That’s why I returned it.

Make sure you check the dimensions of what you are going to put in it vs what it can hold, but otherwise, what do you expect? Exactly as advertised, a great laugh at the family gathering.

This box was a huge hit at a Christmas Party. VERY realistic and the person who received the wrapped box was not sure whether to laugh or try to act serious (as if it were a real attempt at a gift). Afterwards, everyone wanted to know where I made the purchase and we actually re-used it to people that arrived later. Box is sturdy and can be folded back up and re-used for years to come!! Great way to get a bunch of laughs!
