Be a Frog, a Bird or a Tree: Rachel Carr's Creative Yoga Exercises for Children Paperback – January 1, 1977

My two children who are now middle-aged loved this book- and I just got a copy for my two-year grandbaby- she immediately started mimicking the pictures. I was just glad it was still available.

This was both a sentimental and functional purchase for me. I used to have this book as a child (loved it then) and my parents got rid of it. I was so excited to happen upon it at our local library, after checking it out and reading through it with my 4yo two days in a row I checked Amazon for it. The vendor that sold it was accurate in their description, it was in great shape. Thank you.

I used to do yoga with my kindergarten kids in the early mornings. It was the best activity for them and for me. Great way to start great days.

Too expensive for a little paperback, but a wonderful book

Most useful book for Yoga with children; I've used it with hundreds of classes since 1978.

I bought this years ago when I was taking yoga, and recently bought it again for my grandson. Great little book

I was so lucky to find this book at the thrift store for fifty cents, and I have been using it ever since in my preschool classroom. Students love the photographs, the poems, and most of all, attempting the postures for themselves. I can't believe what a gem this is. I haven't found a kid's yoga book that comes close to it.

Well ok so I am realllllly biased. I am one of the kids in this book. Ok so I'm not a kid any more (only at heart) I am 45 now and still jump into yoga classes on occasion but mostly teach tai chi and qi gong.Go figure. Hope alot of you enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed it back when I was a wee lad.Bob Linde
