Ladybird

i recently saw lodi perform live. what an experience...i couldnt believe what i was hearing (and seeing). i never heard of lodi. up pops a lady in maybe her early 70s(?) and blows the quartet away...REALLY. turns out she made one LP in the 50s for some rock/blues lable. sang in and around the village (NYC) over the years. somehow got to add a couple more tunes to the LP and had the CD released. i ran rightout and bought it. its not her live...but its the only game in town. too bad theres not more of lodi out there to dig, but give it a listen. its a voice you will not soon forget. can sing rings around that jane chick any day of the week...and how many people sing "if i should lose you"...mable & kiz?
