Furnace Air Pressure Switch Replaces Goodman Part # B1370142, B13701-42

Had this furnace switch go out on me this winter. Not good. Looked at the signal light and this part wasn't working. Found a matching part that met my needs here on amazon. Instead of hiring a furnace repairmen to come out and check costing be an inspection fee, I bought this an hoped it was the only issue with my furnace. Its cheap enough to give it a try, easy to install, and is good to have a replacement on hand so I bought two.

If you’re like me, you got the 3 blinking lights and no heat?For some reason the first part didn’t work at all but the replacement did the trick.Also, before the part arrived, I crossed the wires over AFTER letting it begin the start up cycle, to provide temp heat. It only works until your thermostat reaches its upper limit. Ie. It’s 66 in the house, thermostat is set for 74. Remove the cross wire, let it begin to cycle up, put the cross wire back on, let it fire up, and if will stop at 74.

This was easy to install and was a direct replacement to the old part.

Will it last the test of time. I don't know. Does it work, yes but image of product is incorrect

The previous valve was all metal while the new has many parts made of plastic. It works, don’t get me wrong, but I wonder if it would last so many years like the original. So far so good. Time will tell.
