Slightly brighter than the original 400 watt bulbs.
I have purchased and installed two of these bulbs in my warehouse. I will continue to replace the existing 400 watt bulbs with these as the old ones burn out. I have 21 lights!!. They are just slightly brighter than the brand new 400 watt bulbs that are existing. It is true that you must remove the ballast and the capacitor. That is very easy to do. You wire these direct. There are instant on, no warm up needed. I am very happy with them.
