For the Price the Product Works, Just Don't Expect to Hang too much Weight on It !
This is an interesting product. I liked this product because it extended to the dimension that I needed. I am using it to hang wet laundry in my apartment laundry room instead of having it hang all over the place.Pros:** Product is made of metal so the bar itself should not bend or break too easily.** The product is simply 2 bars that slide into each other. This simple design actually works surprisingly well and mine is not sagging in the middle at all.** The price. I believe that I paid about 10 or 11 dollars for this product. You would likely pay more in store for a similar rod.Cons:** The pieces that hold it into the wall are made of plastic so they likely aren't too sturdy and won't hold a lot of weight. The set screw from the pole screws directly into the plastic so don't tighten it too much or it could strip out and be ruined.Other than that the product seems to be serving me well. It works for what I ordered it for I just can't hang to many heavy wet pairs of jeans on it or it will likely come crashing down. For light stuff in an area where you don't care about it looking too nice, however, this would be perfect.

This closet rod that I am using in my laundry area to hang wet clothes does as intended. However, I was disappointed that it didn't come with screws to mount the brackets to the wall. I had to use my own 4 screws to mount the 2 brackets to the wall. The only screws it came with were the 2 screws to attach the brackets to the rod. I wish it would have came with mounting screws since the picture on the wrapped package says "screws included." "Screws included" is a little misleading but not a big deal as I had mounting screws at home.

Very sturdy when coupled with heavy duty pole sockets
Very sturdy rod that holds a good deal of heavy clothes when coupled with the John Sterling Corp BC-0039-WT Closet Steel Pole Socket. This socket is much sturdier than the one that comes with this pole but you will need to set the pole adjustment and then drill a hole where the two halves of the pipe overlap and install a screw to prevent the rod from "self-adjusting" and falling to the floor. The wall sockets that come with the rod snap into the ends and prevent the rod from self-adjusting, but they will not hold as much weight.

It is a small invest to get great results.
Nothing is easy to install for me. Yes, once I had bought stud finder it was easy to install. I moved into an antique victorian with NO CLOSET on the first floor. I made a closet from an empty space the size of a phone booth under the stairs. Great solution for very little money.

Cheaper than Home Depot!
I bought my first set of these at Home Depot and they were a little pricey. Then i searched Amazon because we needed a few more and they were cheaper! Vary easy to install, just 2 screws and a drill, BAM youre done! I have these in 3 different closets now and they seem super sturdy!

So far so good. Its been sturdy and hanging in there for a couple of months and doesn't seem to have any problems. Docked a star simply because of the cheap plastic ends that bend pretty easily if you're not careful. Otherwise, a worthwhile investment for the right price.

Adjustable rod should be sold with the matching flange set.
Great closet rod that is adjustable! The only problem is they should sell the rod with the flange set (wall hanging things to hold the rod up). I ordered the same brand flange set (so it would match), but it came from a different warehouse, and sadly that didn't make it, so now I'm going down to Lowes or Home Depot for the flange set that will probably not match my beautiful John Sterling adjustable rod. Oh, well. Not really that big of a deal. The rod is great!

These work great and as described
These work great and as described. I only wish there was a way they would be more solid at the seam. We ended up using a bit of DuckTape to stop the poles from adjusting after we got them to the length we needed
