You have got the apply a lot of force. Sometimes you will have to stand up & put your weight into it. It does not cut clean but should be ok. It will even leave a sliver behind on every cut.

Replacement blade doesn’t seem to be as sharp as the factory blade. We ran through over 10,000 ft of various flooring on the factory blade. Out of the box the replacement blade doesn’t shear flooring as easily as the orignal.
