I like it, I was jonse-ing for some Coco's curry and I had to have the relish too, this is the stuff. Not quite like in the restaurant, but close enough.

Too small for the price.
The size of this can has shrank like every good thing and the price is hefty. I will probably discontinue buying this product due to the reduced value.

Being raised in a Japanese home this relish was always on the table if you have never tried it you should sooo good on riceAnd always reminds me of home

Love this stuff - it's a NECESSITY condiment for Japanese Curry and rice. It tastes like the kind I used to eat when I lived in Japan. Very hard to find now, I hope the company didn't go out of business.

Childhood Memory
Living on the East Coast, it's impossible to find this in stores without Amazon coming to the rescue. I grew up having this often - in fact, my grandmother used to make her own.But the gold and green tin is a warm and familiar sight.The best way to enjoy it? That would be spooned over a large bowl of white rice - usually cold, leftover rice, then pouring hot green tea over all of it.In our household, it was known as ochazuke, and was often a quick and easy lunch when we were kids.

Perfect accompaniment to Japanese Curry Rice
If you love curry rice dishes and make them at home, then this pickle is a must. Traditionally served as a side dish for curry in Japan, fukujin zuke has a salty sweet flavor from sweetened soy sauce. It's mild taste and crunchy textures goes well with Japanese curry spices.I wish the price were a bit cheaper but for such a rare treat, it's worth it. Highly recommend!You can find Japanese curry sauces in the Asian or International food aisles on the west coast and NW region in the US. Or buy them here on Amazon for a reasonable price. Great taste
I had this back in 1960’s. Bought it at a Japanese grocery which went out of business in the 70s. My mother who is now 91 had saved a can with some of her trinkets in it. I found the can. Looked on Amazon and there it was. Tasted great but so expensive. It was delicious and brought back fond childhood memories.
