This is my second set of these for my hot tub, and the only reason I had to buy a new set was because my wife hit one with the lawn mower and broke it. The first set has been on for about 3 yrs and have worked great. Just flip your lid over, get in and slide the lid onto the brackets. Easy simple way to get the lid out of your way when you're using your tub.

A great economical solution. HOWEVER, be sure to find where the framing supports are on your specific hot tub, so you mount the arms to something substantial that will support weight. Had I followed the installation instructions as given, I would have been mounting the arms to nothing but the vinyl panels that wrap the tub and screwing into hollow space behind it.

Easy to install and does a good job holding the cover when the hot tub is in use. I bought this to replace my cover caddy, the kind that you flip the lid over on then slide off to the side allowing the caddy to hold the lid vertically. I noticed that the caddy was damaging the top, and after some time the covers get heavier, and the caddy was tearing the seams. This horizontal cover holder should remedy that problem. I like that the arms fold down out of the way when the cover is on the tub. NOTE: I would make sure that your hot tub sides are sturdy enough to take the pressure and weight that these apply on them. I had to take the side off my tub and reinforce the interior with some 2 x 4 's because the side of my tub is made of that flexible foam fashioned to look like wood.

This is a genius way to move the hot tub cover. Very easy to use and it keeps your cover nice and off the ground. The only problem I had was that my first set of rollers broke after 9 months. One arm broke right off the main part that was attached to the hot tub. It was obvious that the plastic was defective as it had lots of little pits and holes where it should have been solid plastic. I am yet to hear back from Amazon or the Smart Spa people! I bought another one as soon as the first arm broke because I wanted to be able to use my tub. The price had dropped by $20 dollars..... I would give this product a five star rating except for this issue.

A pretty good product, made from plastic but seems to be holding up so far. I reinforced the back side of the spa panel with wood so the screws don’t strip out. Easy to move the spa cover now. Nice that the supports fold out of the way when not is use.

Love this thing where was it when i first bought, i would always have to call a family member out to help or drop it to the ground which i did a few times most of the time i would leave it half on but now i can slide it on and off by myself with easy. Oh and yes i installed it myself in about 15 minutes with no help would have been quicker if i had someone to hold them.But who's complaining

I’ve now had these a year so I feel I can do a fair review. I own a swim spa so I have two covers on mine. So I installed one set to the side for one lid and one to the back for the other. They allow me to roll the lids with ease. It was easily installed too. I would recommend these for the good, flat look so it doesn’t block your view while in the hot tub.
