The knife is dull as heck out of the box
The knife is dull as heck out of the box, so be prepared to sharpen it upon arrival. Also, bring a sharpener with you everywhere as it loses an edge faster than you can blink. In addition, the scissor spring mechanism is not seated correctly, which means that if I close the scissors all the way they jump off the spring rendering it useless. No amount of bending or changing the angle of the spring will fix this issue, at least on this one.3 stars for the beer bottle opener and corkscrew; the only two items we ended up reliably using on our two month trip :)

Cub Scout first knife.
My son is in the cub scouts and just passed the test allowing him to carry a pocket knife at scout events. This was the one he picked from Amazon. It has all the blades that a cub scout could need and he really like the look of it.

Multi tool if you can figure out how to get to the tools
This knife is bulky and cumbersome. I need a another pocket knife just to get to the various inaccessible tools included.

Perfect EDC for anyone!
The Blue Ring Gear Multi-Tool knife fit my order. I needed something that didn't damage my wallet and yet could do any job I asked it to. The Blue Multi-Tool was the knife for me. 12 very useful tools packed into this very nice size. I used the saw blade right off the bat when needing to cut a small plastic tubing that was too long. The screw driver head worked well and I found that with the shape of the knife, it made it easy for a hard to get to place. This is a very solid built knife and should last a very long time under harsh work conditions. A perfect knife/tool to keep in your truck or backpack. Comes with a nylon pouch for your belt loop.
