Excellent. Tacky but doesnt fight you when repositioning is needed
Excellent flux for rework or assembly. It is nicely tacky. Allows for easy repositioning of SMD’s but also is sticky enough to hold things together until reflow. This strikes a nice balance and is recommended. But one point that should be stated clearly: yes you CAN get away with not cleaning the PCB assembly after reflow, but WHY WOULD YOU? A few minutes in an ultrasonic cleaner works magic, and reveals the bright, shiny solder fillets this is capable of producing. Use it with confidence, but CLEAN IT after assembly is complete!

Better than flux pens.
It’s good flux. Works great. Prefer it over flux pens. Use it on smd rework projects.

Great flux! Used for SMD resistors
Great flux. Used it to remove and replace SMD tiny resisters on circuit board. Just save the ziplock it came in. That way you will not loose tips or make a mess.,

Good for its price
I ordered this on a Wednesday and got it in less than a week. I have used ChipQuik No Clean Tack before and thought to try this. I use it with SOIC’s, both removing and replacing them. The only real difference that between ChipQuik and this tacky flux, is the smell when the flux burns off. The ChipQuik gives off a slightly better smell, while the TF-5000 smells of burning Purell. I didn’t mind the smell, but some people could be put off by it, and is the only reason I gave it 4 stars.Other than that one thing it worked as well as the ChipQuik. The solder flowed nice and easy on the pad where there was flux. Removing solder is just as easy. I would recommend this to anyone.

Performs well with least number of toxic chemicals.
I like SRA's tacky flux because it has the least number of toxic chemicals (per MSDS) as compared to others. It cleans up well, and does its job well: It removes the corrosion and acts as a wetting agent. I like it, and will buy more in the future.

Good Flux but syringe handle does not fit syringe.
There is nothing to hold the pusher into the syringe. It works but falls out every time you lay it down. Flux worked well, and cleaned up with IPA, but due to the faulty container I would not recommend ordering.

Great rework flux
Great rework flux, very good with QFP, TSOP, SOICs when using drag soldering, holds up to heat very well. Does not have a strong odor. It was definitely better than Kester RF741 which is very pungent.

Product came broken
Product came with broken syringe most likely due to the poor packaging. may still work or will break once used. I needed it so cant return but the actual product itself is good otherwise
