Great camera...I've tried a lot of these and this Chortau camera with the CamHi software is by far the best. Very easy to setup. Make sure your 2.4 ghz ssid is broadcasting and turn on your location. Insert the SD card on the camera. Plug the camera in and after about a minute hold down the reset button until you hear the sound from the camera. Wait a couple of minutes and then on your wifi settings...connect to the camera. It will be listed as IPCAM-XXXXXX. It will ask you for a password. Default if 01234567. Once connected go into the CamHi software and click on "add camera". Then click on "search camera from LAN". You should see your camera listed. Choose the camera and add it. Once it is added change the password from admin to whatever you want. Then choose wifi setting and choose your 2.4 ghz wifi and put in your password for the wifi. Once the camera is connected your can set it up for however you like it to react. Personally...I have it set to detect and record motion only. You can set it up to continuously record but I would imagine that beats the sd card up a bit.Several things I like about this Chortau camera in conjunction with the CamHi software...the humanoid setting. If you get a camera without the humanoid setting everything will set it off. From moving shadows to hummingbirds. So, make sure you get the camera with humanoid setting. Also, the motion detection. It detects and then will detect again just a few seconds later. I have dealt with some of these cameras where it takes at least 5 minutes for it to detect again...this one blows all the others away. Also, this records full video. None of that 3 picture stuff. If you want to save a video that has been recorded...click on video at the bottom of the app and choose the camera and it will display all of the videos recorded. Find the one you want to save...click on it...and click download. Once downloaded the click "go to see' and it has been saved. To download it to your phone click the box with arrow on the video you want and it will go to video conversion and convert it to an mp4 file. Once converted it is saved to your phone and share where you like.These are my steps for alarm recordings only when detection motion. Choose the camera setting. In alarm setting put motion detection on. choose the area you want it to detect and choose the sensitivity level.Under humanoid setting... smart humanoid recognition is on and frame human form is on. Alarm trigger is linkage trigger.Action with alarm...turn on alarm notification and turn alarm sd rec on.Under recording schedule I set recording duration to 20 seconds.Go into time setting and change it time zone to yours and save it. If you don't do this it defaults to asia and you never get your alarm recordings.When you are viewing the camera live...click on lower right corner icon and change from SD to HD. Makes all the difference.This camera has a great wide angle view!

The app is so terrible that it renders the camera pretty much useless and I am a tech savvy person.

This camera covers a wide area, the night vision is horrible especially @ the corners because of the fish eye. During the daytime the camera is awesome. The Camhi app is the worst app you can think of out there you will not be able to effectively set up a detection zone with a square, and you are not able to view more than one camera @ a time. The motion alert only works when it feels like now and then a red bell pops up on the screen not consistent. The camera is a big upgrade compared to alot of false alert with light flashing with the previous brands of camera. Now and then when motion is on if a dark bark or lights changing from day to night it triggers an alert. It has a humanoid feature but it doesn't work if motion is off. Customer support is wack they only answer @ 2am EST and it's not ongoing sometimes a day or two later, if you emailed @ 3am EST. This camera will seem ok but I you have been around cameras and know what you are looking for then fine.

I got 3 of these cameras so far. Had an issue with one about the power adapter and seller was very helpful trying to help me with that issue. Offered to mail me one, but I found one. I find once you get it hooked up to your smart phone you can change all the settings from there and add your wifi info. There's a bit of a learning curve when trying to get everything set up. I really like these camera's for the price and also had a few friends buy them. I'm still learning everything since I'm new to setting up these cameras. So far none of my friends have anything bad to say these cameras other then the learning curve on how to set everything up and get it all working in sync.

I don't usually install wifi IP cameras, but the application I had is not an easily wired application. So I looked at the reviews on Amazon and decided to go with the CHORTAU. I have found that this is a very good, cost effective IP camera. I was able to install it by first connecting it to my network with an ethernet cable and then use my router interface to find the IP address for the camera. I then simply connected to it using the IP address with a web browser and was able to set up the camera using it's interface and turn on the wifi setting. I did not have to use any other software. I then unplugged the ethernet cable and the camera connected to my network wifi. I used three wood screws that came with the camera to install it on a rafter. Very easy. If I have to eventually hardwire the camera, it will be easy to plug a Cat 5 cable into the camera's port. I recommend it as a cost effective wifi solution.

Overall the camera has worked well but I have not been able to get enough definition to see facial features. When you expand the picture facial features go white. Initially it pinged my phone when there was motion but that has stopped. Overall if I could resolve those two issues I would be very happy. I have attempted to get in touch with the vendor but have not been successful there either.

I love the Camera great picture excellent audio serving its purpose ! Unboxing and setup a bit nerve racking because the wireless camera need a wire to keep it powered and its like a foot long it does not reach anywhere necessary, without a plug exposed and extention cord outside . RETARDED!

Gave it three stars because it seems very well made. Packaged nicely, even comes with all the tools necessary to mount it. Only problem was that no matter what I did it would not connect to the internet. I have other wireless cameras that work on the system but this one would not. So I'm sending it back.

Acquistata per la seconda volta dopo un ottima esperienza con la prima acquistata. Ottima web cam di sorveglianza, corpo in metallo, obiettivo e ir di qualità, semplicità nell'istallazione, onvif e riconoscimento umanoide efficaci. audio bidirezionale con elevata prestazione del microfono incorporato, che restituisce un audio forte e chiaro. Ricordandone la risoluzione descritta posso dire che le immagini sono nitide di giorno e di notte, nell'utilizzo dello zum digitale non possiamo pretendere una risoluzione ulteriore. Unica pecca il firmware datato, accesso al menu della telecamera tramite il solo windows Explorer. Il grandangolo di 180°, nella visualizzazione di un'area maggiore alle cam standard, la rendono unica, ma mi risulta impossibile cambiarne il fuso orario da quello preinstallato. Anche se nasce come ip camera H.264, dal menù camera tramite connessione in rete, è possibile impostare l'H.265. Nel complesso, per un bisogno di coprirne un'area visiva maggiore, posso dire che fa il suo dovere. Qualità prezzo equilibrato. Nelle riprese notturne o ad infrarossi l'immagine risulta perfetta anche in presenza di luci accese. Mancanza di software nella confezione per la gestione da remoto sul pc. La prima web cam acquistata il 26/04/2021 continua a tutt'oggi, 09/11/2021, il perfetto e limpido funzionamento. devo dire che anche l'audio del microfono integrato funziona bene. Con l'acquisto della seconda videocamera ho aumentato la copertura visibile dell'area da sorvegliare. Credo che in futuro, per la loro qualità e prestazioni, ne prenderò anche altre, anche se purtroppo mancano del POE integrato. 10/3/2022, le web camere continuano il loro dovere 24 ore su 24 dall'aquisto

Ich habe die Kamera heute erhalten, ausgepackt, angeschlossen und eingerichtet. Emailbenachrichtigung konfiguriert und Test gestartet - Email angekommen. Soweit so gut. Anschliessend die Kamera im Aussenbereich installiert; Höhe ca. 2,7 Meter für eine Terrassenlänge von ca. 15 Meter. HD Bild scharf und somit erst einmal zufrieden.Dann der Test. Mehrfach entlang der Terrasse auf und ab gegangen. Kein Alarm, keine Push-Nachrichten per Email obwohl die Dauervideos mich eindeutig zeigen. Habe einige Videos nun zu support@ chortau.cc geschickt und hoffe, dass sie eine Lösung für mich haben, ansonsten Retoure. Falls hier ein User/Käufer eine Idee hat, nehme ich jeden Tipp gerne an.Update: Software-Upgrade erhalten und aufgespielt. Zeiteinstellung /Zeitzoneneinstellung und Push-Nachrichten funktionieren jetzt. Leider ist die Bewegungserkennung mangelhaft. Daher Retoure.

A voir dans le temps.Cependant je suis très agréablement surpris par le nombre de fonctions et options que cette camera offre grace a son APP mobile (Android/Apple).Les +- APP Mobile intuitive et riche- Bonne visibilité nuit/jour- Possibilité de parler/écouter en live via la camera depuis l'APP Mobile- Possibilité de zoomer, capturer image/video depuis l'APP Mobile- Accès en live et aux images/videos de la sd depuis l'APP Mobile- Configuration de l'image en SD/HD et plein d'autres paramètres (FPS, etc)- Possibilité d'ajouter un serveur FTP pour envoi de fichiers lors d'un déclenchement d'alarme- Notification alarme sur APP Mobile- Alarme par détection mouvement, auditif, humanoïde- Réglage de détection alarmes et enregistrements sur plages horaires spécifiques- Possibilité de déclencher une alarme sonore, un aboiement de chien (oui, oui) ou un message voix personnalisé- Et d'autres paramètres a explorer encoreLes - (Je n'ai pas spécialement)- Notice pas très facile a prendre en main et avec des problèmes de traduction en français- Carte SD non incluseGlobalement je suis assez content de cette camera.
