Coffee Time Coffee Syrup 6 count

I use this every morning. It's the same flavor I remember from when I was a girl growing up in New England.

I haven't been able to find any coffee flavored syrups in area supermarkets for years now, so I ordered this product. The flavor is good, although I wouldn't mind if the syrup was a little thicker, especially when used on ice cream. I enjoy mixing it in a glass of low-fat milk, adding a shot or less of Kahlua or Tia Maria, and putting it in the freezer for several hours. Makes a tasty frozen treat.I especially want to thank the Amazon seller from whom I purchased this product. In addition to shipping the six squeeze bottles in a cardboard box, Lil-BigShots took the time to wrap them in pairs inside protective bubble-wrap mailing envelopes. I've had some products from Amazon sellers arrive in poor condition, and I appreciate the extra time and effort taken by this seller.

If you know anything about coffee syrup, and have been paying attention lately, there is a movement underfoot to replace Eclipse and Coffee Time original recipes with Autocrat. (Eclipse and Coffee Time labels are being slapped on Autocrat bottles.) What you receive in your order is a different bottle (and therefore a different recipe) than what is depicted. Beware!

I ordered 6 bottles of this - my wife's favorite ingredient for coffee shakes.Unfortunately, the shipper picked a box that was too tight a fit to include adequate cushioning protection. Two of the bottles had loose lids (may not actually be a result of shipping shock). One of those bottles had a compromised seal and a small amount of the syrup spilled out.If I were buying this off the shelf, I wouldn't have picked the one that had the compromised seal (for fear of contamination). My guess is that the syrup is OK, but my wife have a very poor immune system, and I haven't decided whether or not to use that bottle.

too long to remember

Used to get this product when I lived in New York. Missed it so much, and now I am happy again. I make egg creams, pour over ice cream and substitute for Kalua when cooking for friends who can't have alcohol.......

Coffee Time is a long time New England treat in milk for lunch. It goes back several generations in my family and to be able to get it sent to North Carolina brings "home" HOME!
