The Russian's Runaway Bride (The Boarding School Series Book 3)
I've had this book on pre-order with Amazon since I finished book #2, but I haven't had time to read it! It's been on my carousel, tempting me daily, so today I gave in, grabbed my tea and hid out in my room until I was done...and I am so glad I did! Ms. Lennox is one of my favorite authors, and she never, ever disappoints. Handsome, passionate billionaires, strong-willed to a fault, of course, but also tender and funny and loving. <SIGH> Who can beat that? And there are no timid damsels in her stories - or, at least there haven't been, up until now. But Livia isn't exactly timid; she's everything I admire in a woman, but life with an abusive father and a gentle mother who never fights back have left their mark on her. That relationship with her father and mother is the point of this whole story. Stephan is big and tough and noisy and delicious, all at the same time, but Livia's fear that he might secretly be exactly like her father terrifies Livea, and causes her to fumble at the last moment, and make the wrong choice. It doesn't ruin their HEA, but it so easily could have, and that was just scary! True love conquers all, I promise. It's a great story, well told, as you will discover on your own.Jgtimm

Stefan Kozlov and Livia Morgan... can they find their HEA? Find out!
Elizabeth Lennox – Boarding School Series The Russian’s Runaway Bride (3)3 Star. Worthy of 4 Stars, but lots of typo errosThe third book in the series features Stefan Kozlov and Livia Morgan. When they saw each other across the room, there was an instant connection and maybe a little lust. Stefan who always got what he wanted, vowed he would have Livia. But she was determined not allow that to happen. At 25, Livia was now out on her own and most important, away from her horrible abusive father. They had a whirlwind romance and was married within a few months/weeks. After their wedding, Livia over heard Stefan on the telephone to someone and she was sure that there was a side that she was terrified of. Livia thought she had no choice, so she ran away and found a small cottage to figure out how to get out of this marriage. When Stefan found her, he told her that she had to come home because her mother was in the hospital. He stated that he expected her to stay in his home until her mother was healed. Now what is she going to do?In Ms. Lennox style, there are a several areas that are funny: they went to a hole in the wall to eat. There was a drink concoction that was strong, hot going down and Livia thought; ‘the drink should come with a warning label and a hazardous material suit and she knew that the stuff couldn’t be legal’. In the right context I LOL.The story had a great ending, but, I only gave it a 3 star because I thought the plot was a little weak.

Elizabeth Lennox never disappoints... Great Read
Elizabeth Lennox is one of my ONE CLICK Authors...she writes it I buy it. Rarely am I disappointed and I WAS NOT in this book at ALL! This is the third book in the Boarding School Series. You do not have to read the other books in the series to understand or follow this book but let me tell you if you read the other books it helps you to understand where Stefan is in his head and you will also know who the others are that are mentioned in the book.Stefan Kozlov and Livia Morgan are instantly attracted to each other. She doesn't want to be for fear Stefan is like her father. He doesn't want to be because well he wants to keep his freedom. But well you have to read the book and see how long that last. This book is well written and had me crying in spots. Be aware there is domestic violence in this book so if that is an issue with you or could be a trigger for bad memories I just want you to know that going in.

an up & down love story
I liked Stefan the Russian billionaire businessman. At a boring meeting with a blowhard businessman Stefan meets the lady of his dreams, the blowhard's daughter. Livia is a lovely innocent lady who isn't looking for a man. Her father is an abusive mean selfish man who has tainted her perception of men. Livia & Stefan have several ups & downs with Livia fighting their falling in love but the story is good. Linda

finally, novel 3 delivers+ on the the base novella.
loved the setup novella, but wasn't sold on the series until this book(#3). Book 1 standard ignored wife for 6 years until she decides to divorce/he realises her body has developed to maturity trope. Book 2 woman desired for at least 3 years but not courted because "mistresses" (in 21st century) so blackmail at last moment (must have legitimate heir by ..... (21st century again) trope) with minor indiscretion of younger sibling of heroine trope (a contractual obligation/lazy novel of the most heinous). The only reason I continued the series this far is the ease of Amazon's next in series ordering. I'm compulsive, and I kindle drunk and sober.Really happy I drunk-ordered the continuation of THIS series to get to this book. Now, which way will book 4 go ?

Awesome Book!
I love this book! It's another great addition to the already great Boarding School Series by Elizabeth Lennox. I just wish that there had been more of an explanation of what actually happened to her mother and what happened in the end to her horrible excuse for a father. I also wish she had tormented to explain what the henna design meant. I looked it up so I think I understand the joke but it's not very effective to put in a cute joke that virtually no one will understand without research. Other than that the book is very entertaining and full of love and heat and we'll written characters. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys easy-to-read HEA love stories.

Disappointed with lack of research into British culture
Elizabeth Lennox, The Boarding School series, I'm a fan of her work and was excited to read these newest ones ... However I noticed that, unless I've made a mistake in where she is actually basing her stories, she hasn't seemed to have done even the basic research needed when writing about countries not of her own! To the point where I'm highly disappointed. And it's simple things but if she is going to base her stories in Britain, readers expect, and righty so, for the culture/way of life/healthcare system and everything else even the simple facts to be rightfully written. For example, **AND THIS PART MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS ** we have the NHS which covers all medical costs, we do have private hospitals, in which we pay for our treatment but they are an opt in alternative. So the mothers medical bills wouldn't have been an issue he could blackmail her with simply because that is simply not how British healthcare works. With a home invasion she wouldn't have been taken to a private hospital unless she stated to the paramedics who attended to her, she would have been taken to a 'normal' hospital and would have been treated just as well! Even the additional surgeries, the after care, the physical therapy it would all have been covered under the NHS and unless she went private there would not have been ANY additional costs! It may seem like a tiny thing but at the same time, to a British person it is a big deal. If you are going to base your stories in a country not your own, you need to do the right research into said country because it leaves a negative impression, one of ignorance, a show of a lack of care to her characters, her own work, when the truth is she's actually a talented author! So fellow British readers be warned there are lots of errors throughout this series and they get very frustrating. It wasn't until the 3rd book, this one, that I couldn't keep quiet any longer! When the information Stafan was blackmailing his runaway bride with was incorrect to a point where, if they really were in London, it simply would not have existed I had to say something, I just wish I could get it to the author so she knows for next time!

Loved the characters but a very hit and miss storyline ...
Loved the characters but a very hit and miss storyline - great at times, poor in others. Also, confusion over setting - seemed to be set in the US (from language/description) to start with and then London!
