Assessment and Grading in Classrooms 1st Edition

I had to buy this book for my class. It has been one of the best investments. I have used it for about 4 other classes as a reference and have used some of the ideas for my classes (I also teach). If you are looking for ideas to create better test questions, develop better assessment techniques, and understand assessment better, then this is one book you need to add to your collection.

I had to have it for class. It reads like stereo instructions. Not a whole lot else I can say.

Not a very good book. I have now been in the classroom and a lot of what is in this book is just theory, that is hard to translate into the classroom setting. The book gives some details, but really lacks in real world examples.

This book was very difficult to read and it would especially for students. I would not recommend it to schools for students to use.

Not a very useful book for current assessments in education.
