Has an Adjustable Waistband!
These were a bit big on my son, but he is on the smaller side. We happily discovered these pants had an adjustable waistband. I didn't know that when I ordered. They fit him well after adjusting. Great length and great quality.

Durable and Great for School, but Shrinks a Bit
Durable and Great for School, but Shrinks a BitThese black uniform pants are a solid choice for school wear. They’re durable, hold up well to rough play, and the fabric doesn’t rip or tear easily, even after daily use. The color also stays rich black after multiple washes, which is a big plus for a school uniform. That said, I did notice they shrink slightly after a couple of washes, even when washed in cold water and dried on low. I’d recommend ordering a size up to be safe, especially if your child is growing fast.Overall, they’re a good value for the price and do the job well—just be mindful of the sizing after wash. I’d definitely buy again, just with the shrinking in mind.

Perfect!
Size and fit is perfect for my growing kid. Good quality and always a constant brand in our house. My kids always ask for this brand when I buy them uniform clothes. They prefer this fit because they say it’s more comfortable.

comfy khakis
French Toast Khaki pants are great: machine wash/dry; holds up well. 60/40 cotton/polyester gets softer with wash, but does not wrinkle much. There is no stretch to the pants, but they are comfortable and polished. These are my son's preferred khakis from this last school year. The only reason to buy more this school year is because he is outgrowing his set from last year. I am getting him the "slim" version, and I wanted to share the difference in waistband size––in case it might help others:The size 14 "regular" (14.5") has about an inch––measured flat––to the (13.5") "slim" version; ~27" versus ~29" waistband -- (see photo). So the size chart is just slightly off (about an inch); however, the age-to-fit, in my opinion, is pretty accurate. Both size 14 pants have ~28.5" inseam, adjustable waistband, and reinforced knee.

Very stiff
My son had a string instrument concert and I needed pants and couldn’t find any. The picture looked like what I was looking for, a flowing, classy pant. What we got was almost stiff as cardboard. It’s almost like the thick Dicky workman’s material. Definetly not what I was looking for.
