BT MINI BLUE COMPACT AMP 3.5MM

I recently purchased an amplifier to power my B&W Rock Solid 150W speakers, and I am beyond impressed. The sound quality is simply outstanding. Every note is crisp, clear, and full of detail, making my music come alive in a way I never thought possible in such a small unit.The build quality of the amplifier is equally impressive. I'm using this with a Windows 10 laptop, via Bluetooth, driving a pair of Pyle PDMN-48 speakers. Sound quality is excellent and with the speakers only 1 meter from where I'm sitting it's got plenty of power. (I worry about damaging my hearing long before I notice distortion in the amp or speakers)90 Watts is of course, a lie. (everybody lies, so I don't hold it against Pyle) The DC adapter is rated to 2A 12V, so that sets a limit of 12W per channel average power. This amp uses a "Class T" (aka "Class D" or "switching amplifier") design which makes it *very* efficient. Despite it's small size and good volume it doesn't get hot. Heck I don't even notice it getting warm... I like that a lot. (the days of massive heatsink fins being a sign of power of quality are long gone!)Note: I'm using the line inputs from my desktop and that works fine too.Installation in WIndows 10 is a breeze. Way easier than WIn 7 was!Fun facts:1: Toggle the front panel switch to make it look for a bluetooth source. The blue LED blinks when it's available to connect and turns solid blue once it's connected.2: If you are having trouble, try an iPhone or other source, to isolate the problem.3: After several years my amp "failed". I replaced it with the same thing and it also "failed". After much fooling about I isolated the problme to my cheapo 12V power supply, which had decided to start putting out 16V no load! The amp would turn on with blue lights, but there was no sound. Swapping to a better regulated 12V supply fixed them both!

This Pyle 90-watt mini blue series amp is perfect for my office. Paired with the WiiM mini, it lets me stream Spotify and Amazon Music to my Polk R200s seamlessly. The amp performs well up to around 90% volume, beyond which there's some distortion. Nevertheless, 80% volume is more than sufficient for a small office. A great value!

the sound quality is great. I have this product hooked up in my ceiling to power a speaker for my bathroom. I have this plugged into a switch I installed that is controlled by my bathroom switch and turns it on and off. the pros: great sound, its Bluetooth, its compact. cons: the Bluetooth feature is sort of disappointing. if you have multiple phones that have connected to this device, then when you turn it on, you have a great chance that the other device will connect and not yours. so basically when you done using the device, you need to remove the device from your Bluetooth menu if you want someone else to use it with no issues to connect. another con is sometimes it doesn't connect, even if your the only one trying to connect your device. if you use this product like I did, and keep it in the attic, then you must keep the volume up so you can turn up your device as loud as you like. the downfall is when you turn on the amp, it make a loud noise when you turn it on. I actually purchased 2 of these. 1 for each bathroom. the weird thing is 1 of the amps beep really loud and plays a quick tone as your connected. the 2nd amp talks and says power on, then when your device is connected it says "connected". and they are the exact same amps. so I found that a little odd. I would totally give this amp 5 stars if the Bluetooth worked better. connect the device that's on your menu rather then having to delete it from your device then re-pair every time you want to use it. but other then that, great amp. powers 1 speaker nicely, clean and crisp. not sure how it would power 2. never tried it.HelpfulReport

If you are looking for a tiny bluetooth device to connect to a couple of hard wired speakers I recommend this product. Super simple and small enough to be hidden almost anywhere. As a small criticism the speakers cannot be 'balanced.' I have the bass control on full and sound is a little 'tinny' BUT that is probably my speakers and no fault of the product. For my needs this device is perfect.

I purchased this to replace a larger unit on my back porch. The sound quality is good and the Bluetooth range seems to be 50’ or more. For the price, this has been a very value.

This is a great inexpensive unit (easy to set up, bluetooth connects easily, works well, etc.), with two issues IMO: first, as at least one other reviewer pointed out, the power supply really stinks. I had another one handy with the same voltage/current ratings and switching to that one greatly improved the sound quality IMO. Second, the sound quality on bluetooth is quite a bit less good than through a wired connection. My frame of reference is that I typically use Sony bluetooth gear, which uses LDAC to improve the bluetooth sound quality, and I just thought the sound quality was pretty lifeless over bluetooth. That may be endemic to all bluetooth, I haven't A/B'd enough different units to know for sure, just sharing my opinion.
