The definitive history book of Bunker Hill
Known for many things, including being the location of many Noir Films from the 30s and 40s, the history of Bunker Hill is fascinating. Mr. Marsak has done an excellent job gathering photos, and has incredible knowledge of the history Bunker Hill. The only people who know more about it are dead.

Well researched LA history
I really liked the format- beautiful pictures and we'll researched and written text. I think it is quite a high price point for a book of its size however if you have a real interest in the area, it's worth it!

Shows what was destroyed when LA Bunker Hill was "redeveloped."
Saw a presentation on LA Bunker Hill by the Los Angeles Art Deco Society. In addition to the Victorian homes and buildings, a number of Art Deco homes and buildings were destroyed. Many of the VIctorian ones were too far gone to restore, but some of them and most of the Art Deco buildings could have been saved.
