A nice change
I've been racing regularly for over ten years. 34' IOR boat on the East coast. We race 2-3 times a week. I usually do pit or bow. I wanted to try the gummy palm material. I've used these for all of the 2014 season. These are as good as the Gil, Harken and Ronstans I've used. I have large hands and usually need an XL. These were a little too loose for me but I fear the L would be too tight. If nothing else, it's fun to have something with a different logo on it and the pros and cons even out to the same as the more prominent brand names. They could use a sweat band on back for wiping one's brow.

Good glove, solid fit
Good glove, solid fit. Comfortable. The backing fabric is thin, and so I'm not sure how it will hold up over time. The 3/4 finger design seems to cut the fingers too short--they actually end just at the first knuckle of the fingers. Lines ride right over the ends of the gloves, and rope burn on the last 3 fingers of the hand is pretty much a given. (People who are trimming with lines entering the palm from the thumb side, rather than the little finger side, will probably not have as much of a rope burn issue.) I liked the feel of the glove enough to buy a pair of the 3 finger model (full fingers except for index and thumb) and that works a lot better for me.

best I have worn in 12 years
These gloves for sailing are the best I have worn in 12 years. The palm is so sticky that the winch handle better have the spinning part of the handle where you hand meets the handle! Even when sliding forward to the bow, these glove stick to the fiberglass. There is no slipping and it is something to become used to. The fit is excellent. The lack of leather means the back of the gloves are never overly tight like in prior gloves after getting wet and shrinking or even becoming stiff.

Good gripping gloves.
I love these gloves! Recently, we flipped our boat over while sailing, and they were great for holding the lines so we could flip it back. The did not slip at all. Other gloves I have used fall apart after a while, even the expensive brands. These seem like they will last at least as long.

the gloves are amazingly grippy but the silicon or grippy part started to peel off on 1 day in the water and working the sheets and halyards hard. the kevlar tips are intact.
