Kodiak Furniture Monterey Futon Set, No Drawers, with Barbados Base and Suede Navy Mattress

This thing is a beast - got it because I needed a couch in our tiny apt that could do double time as guest accommodations someday when we are allowed to have them again. I thought i was on a roll when I assembled 2/3 of it on my own but the last part required calling in some assistance. I still don't have the futon on it all the way - I have a few inches coming off the front but wrestling this thing is no joke, and I am hoping there is one more level of "up" for the back as i feel like I'm going to fall into it.One leg was cosmetically damaged when i got it and I unfortunately dropped it and took a chunk out of that same side while attempting to put it all together :( we need a couch so badly I didn't have the heart to complain about the initial damage.On the other hand, the color is perfect - it's way more of a deep teal blue than a navy, as was mentioned in other reviews, which is what i wanted so I took the chance.

The assembly went off without a hitch!Arrived in good shape, & is very sturdy & comfortable! High quality materials good price. Very satisfied!

The instructions are very easy to follow due to the online video and you should have two people for a couple of the steps. The mattress is really comfortable looks great in our home office.

I didn't give it a full 5 yet because it is not 100% set up. Ups lost the 3rd box containing the arm pieces to it. But I am leaving this review because I am super pleased as to how their customer service department handled it! I called and within 5 minutes they agreed to send me a new set of arms. So far, was really impressed with the instructional video. It was so much better than reading a manual. Seems sturdy so far and wood is really nice quality.

Great futon for guests. I purchased for my granddaughter for when she has her sister or guests sleep over. Nice mattress. Well built frame. Very good futon for the money.

It took a while to put together but is very sturdy and looks great in my office/guest room. The mattress is thick and comfortable so hopefully it holds up over time. I do wish there was a little more control when shifting it from seated to laying position and visa versa. Only gave four stars because unless you have two people it just kind of falls down into laying position, and putting it back up into seated position requires a bit of effort. Overall happy with it

this product is easily worth hundreds more. dont hesitate ang get smart help tp assemble

I’ve had this futon for two months and it broke. No one is jumping on it anything vigorous. Just sitting.It’s also impossible to put together by yourself.The mattress is comfortable, too bad the frame is junk.(Update: They sent me a replacement piece for the part that snapped. However, this part snapped again along with other pieces of the futon. It is beyond repair at this point. This futon was a giant waste of money.)
