Out of production
These were designed and built to the specs of a company called Michael's Of Oregon Company, under contract with Blackwater. The production of the belt was done in the Philippines. Michael's Of Oregon Company was bought out by Bushnell and then changed hands again. Unfortunately, Michael's Of Oregon Company ceased production, and no one appears to be making the same products to these specs as of 2020. The Blackwater Gear line also no longer exists. This product uses a quality padding material, solid stitching and a traction material in the lumbar area to keep the belt in place. Unlike a lot of the padded belts of this type and size, it includes the securing belt, but does use the plastic buckle instead of a metal buckle, which was probably a function of it's production era. This is a quality product and it'd be great to hear that someone put it, and the rest of the Blackwater/Michael's Of Oregon Company product line back into production.

good belt
It is a good belt. It rides well. It has a weird extra velcro panel in the back, not that useful. If you are not using the D rings for suspenders, they generally stay out of the way.

Good piece of equipment, durable and functional.
I have used this belt on several ops to this point and seems to do the job. Underbelt could be a little better...
