What happened to UV protection???
This is my fourth time getting this product. The first time I got it, it came with UV protection, which is rare for clear sealants. I LOVE how easy this is to apply, it soaks in like water and just works. I used the UV protection one on my tool shed 4 years ago and till today it hasn't grayed! But then I guess they took that off the shelf, because I thought I bought the same product and sprayed it on my cedar fence the same as my shed, but it's completely grayed now.Bottom line: easy to use, feels really natural and safe to use (no smell and you get a little latex layer on your skin that's easy to scrape off), complete protection from mold and rot, but will not prevent graying anymore.Yes, put the second coat on fast if you're going to. In my experience it hasn't needed multiple coats when you apply the first thick enough.Hey Seal-Once! Bring back the UV protection formula, it really worked and the natural alternatives out there are crazy expensive!

Very good product
This is a very easy-to-apply water based clear coat. The application tools are easily cleaned with soap and water. Good coverage, doesn't require a thick film for good protection.

Looks good so far...easy to brush on.
My deck is treated Southern Yellow Pine. The Seal Once Nano Poly was easy to apply. However, I did a lot of prep work to hopefully, ensure a long lasting finish. I opted for a waterbased finish for two reasons; 1. I have dogs and didn't want them getting into anything toxic. 2. I have dogs...and needed the deck to dry fairly quickly so they wouldn't have to stay locked in the house for more than necessary. I chose the Nano + Poly because of the UV inhibitors in the poly. I wanted to avoid pigment in my very unevenly grained boards. After installing all new treated decking, I let it dry / season for about 6 months. Then, I power washed the deck after using a deck restore cleaner and scrub brush. I let that dry for a day and followed up by knocking off the raised grain with a belt sander and 80 grit belt. After thoroughly sweeping the dust off, I applied the Seal Once plus Poly with a 4" brush. I flooded the surface of each board to get as much of the finish absorbed into the wood as possible, then brushed out the excess. I took care to get as much into any knotholes and checking cracks as I could, in order to prevent rot from starting in these vulnerable areas. It was a hot day and the Seal Once was dry to the touch, within an hour. I went back over most of the boards for a second coat per the instructions, while they were still damp. Even so, the material already started to bead up on itself. This was not a problem, as it brushed out fine and leveled itself. Still, that tells me that the second coat is more of a surface finish.I love the look of the natural, untinted finish. Hopefully, the poly will help keep the wood from turning gray too soon. The Seal Once Poly imparted a slightly deeper color than the plain wood and added a satin surface look.Coverage was about what I expected. My deck is just under 200 square feet. Once gallon just covers it with either one heavy or two light coats. Anyway, I'm happy with the result. I'm just hoping it lasts.

Very Pleased!
1/2023 - UpdateI didn't remember to post in 2022, but I wanted to add a couple of pictures. I will say that am not sure if the product is going to hold up through six years (horizontal surfaces like the deck) as it's going on 3 years and I feel like I am seeing wearing I didn't expect. However, I am not a professional. I applied it with a brush and, perhaps, I didn't apply it as well as I should have. I am not comfortable blaming the product alone. Some sections seem to be holding up better than others. Currently, the furniture is covered up, but most of it seems to be holding up better than certain areas of the deck. It should be noted that most of the deck is probably close to 30 years old if not older. That may be a factor as well.6/2021 - UpdateI originally posted last November after treating wooden deck furniture. This June, I treated the deck after having it power washed. Still thrilled with the product and the way it's working. I am adding 2 additional pictures. The first is after the deck was power washed and the second is after I treated/painted it with this product. You can even see beaded water on the deck š11/2020I am posting a review of this product along with some pictures. I will plan on updating it each year as the product is said to last approximately 6 on horizontal surfaces and 10 years on vertical surfaces.First, let me say that I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. When the product arrived I found it to be somewhat thin. When I realized it was water based, it made more sense that it wasn't very thick. That being said, I have been very pleased thus far with the results. I did the application with a brush. As you will see in the pictures, it does what it needs to do when it comes to rain. I also wasn't sure what color to get. I picked the bronze cedar and when used on new wood, that is the color you get. It is beautiful! You will see the color is not quite the same (seems a bit darker depending on the light) when used on wood that has already been treated with a previous product (I don't recall what product or color was on the furniture that I re-treated) It doesn't bother me, though, that the color isn't the same. Now for the pictures. The picture of the deck boards that I treated show the true color. I have not yet treated the rest of the deck as I want to make sure to power wash and clean it first and won't be able to do that till spring. When you see the picture of the boards with the water beaded on them and then see the boards around it don't have beaded water, it's because the rest of the deck has not yet been treated. The pictures of the furniture show the "before" of one of the small end tables and the "after." It also shows an "after" of another chair and table set and big picnic table. Mind you, the furniture wasn't in the best of condition. The last time it was treated was several years ago. I am very pleased with the way this product has worked so far. If you do happen to see an area that was missed, it is NOT the fault of the product, but of the person doing the application (me!) I look forward to treating the rest of the deck (and furniture) in the spring with this excellent product!

Used it on my Trailer
20āx80ā car trailer. Application was easy, the treated wood on the trailer soaked it up nicely. Iām sure it will lighten up a bit after it cures. Looks great! I used a stain applicator tool, and a 2ā brush for between the boards.
