Very pleased with our purchase of max, and very impressed with his learning capabilities and his cleaning ability. We brought him as we have 3 cats (who are constantly shedding hair) and we live in a fairly large bungalow with various floor types (hardwood, tile, low pile carpet and also a very thick pile carpet), we also have two room door threshold which the height is approx 3/4 of an inch. When looking at robot vacuums, the other vacuum we were considering was the ecovac (similar price range at £350), however, max boasts the biggest suction for any robot vacuum on the market at 3000pa and also a decent size bin at 650ml (which is about 2/3 cleans of our house with pets). Compared to a standard Henry hoover or dyson hoover, it’s suction is very good, and is able to pick up everything from animal hair to larger particles such as large crumbs, even hair clips with ease.The main point with max is that he learns and is very intelligent, when you first use him, unlike other robots in which you can map out the rooms, you can’t do that with this robot, but he learns himself as time goes on. Through his technology and continued learning is able to figure out the most effective route for cleaning, he goes under all our furniture and able to navigate around chair legs and obstacles cleaning as he goes. He varies his cleaning routes and patterns (he doesn’t miss any areas), and also noticed he has learnt which areas are commonly more dirty and will focus on those areas more. His intelligence is very impressive, on his first clean he got slightly stuck on a small bit of frayed carpet, and since then, he avoids that bit. If he’s moving from tile to carpet, he detects that and he changes his suction as needed. I wasn’t sure if he would be able to clean our very thick, high pile carpet, but he does it better than the Dyson. He’s battery is around 120 minutes, however on a schedule clean, he roughly does it in 45/60 minutes, and finds his own way back to his charging station. I’m so impressed by this hoover (he goes is able to cope with all our door thresholds, and if you have wires on the floor, he just goes over them). Very clever robot as he learns the more he does! He also has a clever safety feature and the app is very easy to use. He is worth every penny!

max arrived and was super easy to set up plug in the charging base download the app from the appstore and follow the instructions and done took me less than 5 minutes. Max cleans in straight lines and works realy well I was dubious of how well it would do but I was pleasantly surprised on how well it cleans on wooden floor its pretty powerful and tracks where its been so if you have to pause cleaning to take a call or do something when you restart it will start where it left off cleaning. On carpet it picked up well but the main brush could do with being a little stiffer to get all the pet hair but still does a pretty good job. The camera and movement notification are good little additions and my daughter had fun driving max manually using the camera. The claw brush is nice and long so it gets into the corners and sweeps crumbs into the main brush. The bin is easy to empty and the main brush and filter detach super easily to clean them. Max has quickly become a part of my cleaning routine set him up to come on and forget about having to vacuum especially when both my dogs are shedding there coats max is keeping my house dog hair tumbleweed free.

I love max the robot vacuum it’s absolutely brilliant the quality and presentation of This vacuum is really really nice it arrives in a very nice box and instantly you can feel the quality and effort that has gone into making this product you open the box and everything is well lay out you get a small instruction and care manual which is very clear and easy to follow it’s very easy to set up taking are 5 min in total to have it up and running just place max on his charging dock let him charge up download the app on your iOS or android device follow the on screen instructions add WiFi details and done you can also use Alexa smart home speakers for him to connect too as well which is also very simple to use I’ve connected max to my Alexa devices and he responded first time every time this robot vacuum is absolutely amazing it’s well made it feels really good quality and the technology of this vacuum is mind blowing I love all technology (I’m a bit of a tech nerd) and this just wows me every time I use it it’s definitely a new toy for me and it’s actually made a very boring household job really good fun for me the suction is spot on and he cleans very good the quality of the cleaning this thing can do definitely exceeded my expectations to be honest and this is great for busy households the front camera on max is really really good quality the image is quite impressive and the app works flawlessly the notifications come through to your phone through the app and theres almost no delay either which was very impressive for me too this is definitely worth every single penny every little thing it does it does very well and it feels made to last you can see that thought and effort went into making this product and even presenting it too and it pays off i highly highly recommend this max the robot vacuum I absolutely love mine and I really can’t recommend it enough

It’s ok but it isn’t smart, and doesn’t learn. It will work it’s way around the floor space and maps out where it has been but this is long forgotten the next time it pops out.My biggest gripe is you can’t buy spare parts from Amazon in the UK... let’s see what happens when it comes to replacing the filters and brush but I’m not keen to buy from the supplier directly and ship from the states.Mine was also hacked and had to be left turned off for weeks whilst the manufacturer updated the firmware... not good when it’s got a camera on it but at least it announced when the hackers switched the camera on so that I could show them my arse.If it didn’t have a camera and spares could be got easily, it rate it far higher but it’s been a bit of a let down.
