Great Barefoot sneaker on all terrain
These are my favorite sneakers hands down. Fits like a glove. I am a person who prefers to be Barefoot or in flip flops so the Vibram Barefoot style sneaker is perfect for me. Great grip on rocky or wet terrain. I wear them everywhere and in fact I bought 2 more pairs because I don't think Merrell Is making this style anymore. I typically wear a 7.5 or 8 depending on the shoe and the 7.5 Merrell fits me best.

Not impressed and I love the Merrell brand
I am not totally impressed with this new pair of Merrell. I’m used to the older versions of bare access running shoe. When walking around my hardwood floors the soles seem sticky. Hopefully I can break these in a little and just use them for every day where at work. This is not my first pair that I’ve ever bought. I actually prefer the Merrell brand over all other brands of shoes. This is the most expensive pair I bought and I’m not totally impressed. :(

Pebbles
The shoes are very comfortable, stable and dry quickly. I never feel that they are too hot. I got them soaked in a boat and they dried quickly and retained their shape. I am an Rv'er and walk though lot of gravel and sand and they are stable, but I wish the soles were thicker because you feel every pebble on your feet. I wear othotics and have tender feet and like to feel comfort rather than pebbles.

My favorite new thing!
I’ve been a New Balance fan for my whole life- when I found out they were discontinuing the Minimus shoe - I wasn’t happy. The minimus was the lightest running shoe ever - with the vibram sole- it allowed me to run without ever wearing socks. I decided I couldn’t wait any longer and after a little searching I came across these Merrell Bare Access. It was love at first lace. ❤️ These are as late as the minimus shoes and they have way more arch support then the new balance instead I had no idea what I was missing these are literally my dream running shoes and I’m gonna order them in every color.

Just Right
I’m so happy with these! They are lightweight, comfortable right out of the box, and good looking. Like most Merrells, the toe box is wide enough for my wide lower foot without being too large for my regular sized heel. I typically wear a 7 1/2 or 8 in Merrells. A size 8 was a great fit for these. Unlike a lot of walking/running shoes, these look and feel streamlined. Love them.

Too narrow, not what I expected, one shoe smaller than the other?
I have been wearing Merrell boots for years (spent 10 years working outdoors, and it was pretty much the only brand I wore), I had a first generation pair of the barefoots and I loved them, I love the sandals they make - so what has happened to their consistency and quality over the last year or so?! I have a wide foot and always found that Merrell was a good brand for me. But these shoes were so narrow and the arch support was so high, I thought it had to be a mistake. Additionally, the left shoe was significantly smaller than the right shoe! I am so disappointed. I really wanted them to be awesome, and it was a huge let down.

Weird stocky tacky bottom
I liked these shoes for a month, then i noticed if tje outside souls got damp they became,sticky..sounds like walking on a floor that had juice spilled on it. I scrubbed my floors and, still my shoes were tacky. Washed the souls..no better. Can't stand this. Will probably not buy them again. :(

Tight at first
This shoe was tight at first and I thought I’d have to send it back. But after a few minutes walking around it absolutely adjusted and fits great! Going to be my next daily walking shoe - I do 3.5 miles 5 days a week and my other Merrell’s are wearing thin after a year. This is my 5th pair. Merrell is the best. Sturdy. Comfortable. Pretty good arches, but could be a bit better in that Dept. I am a customer for life.

Disappointing
I have never found a suitable Merrell replacement for my Bare Access Arcs. These are far too big - about a size compared to the Arcs, and why oh why won't my socks stay up in them?? Walking around the front room resulted in my socks riding down and bunching up by my does. Utterly disappointing.

Brilliant trail trainer
Really comfortable, wide toe box which I didn’t expect but was pleasantly surprised. 1st time wearing was going up 860m elevation on a stony terrain. Very happy with these!
