Great idea, poor product...
PROS: Stealthy, nice concept.CONS: Unreliable, hassle to maintain, poorly manufactured. The idea is great and the unit is fairly stealthy. However, it doesn't work well. You will need to charge the battery pack at about 3 day intervals, maybe more if there is a lot of activity on the camera. With very little activity, the battery will last up to 5 days and no indication is given a charge is needed. When reconnecting the battery, sometimes (about 40-50% of the time) the SD card does not automatically enter the record mode, even if you have pre-configured it to do so. In such cases, you will never know until you check the SD card, only to find it has no files on it. When this happens, you will need to ensure you have a fresh battery pack, reconnect it, make some movement, disconnect the battery, pull the SD card and check to see if it is recording. All of this is more trouble than it is worth. You could potentially lose data from the time you connect a fresh battery pack until depleted, because you will never know it is recording, and when you check the SD card, there may be no files recorded.Bottom line, when you need to catch a vandal, you have a 50-50 chance this thing is going to record as advertised. The unit appears to be put together by hand, like a kit project. For 400 bucks it's just not worth it.
