These were very easy to install and look perfect for my truck topper. The shock strength is something I was worried about because my last set wasn’t as good but the build quality seems great and the stiffness will be able to carry the weight of my topper tent.

Easy to install and works well. One strut was enough to open the window. Two struts should last a long time.

Great replacement for my A.R.E. cap fit perfectly. Super easy install. Now I don’t get hit in the head every morning loading the truck bed.

I got these for my camper shell window whose Stabilius gas springs failed after about 6 years of use failing to find Stabilius replacements. They appear almost identical (having an increase of 1mm in diameter from the OEM springs) although the spring force was a bit higher. In operation, they work fine and the slightly higher force isn't an issue.The instructions could use a touch-up. They didn't mention lubricating the ball-heads the spring mount on and there was no explanation of how the spring clips securing the ends work so I had a hard time until I discovered that the clip slide to the side and don't come all the way off (taking them off makes re installation of the clips with one hand pretty difficult while holding the ball and socket together with the other hand). Once I discovered how the clips work, it was an easy replacement and they work fine (I do recommend a high quality marine grease for lubricating the ball heads before putting the new springs in place). I'll see if they last as long as the originals. One problem with gas springs is once they start to leak internal pressure, they need replacing as it will only get worse until failure occurs and sometimes they fail outright without a warning. Poor operation on cold days is a sign that new springs should be on hand.

Very small price to pay. Having the back hatch on my truck cap having to be held up was getting old. These fixed it.

The product appears to be good quality and fits perfectly. The installation instructions are very poor. They should have someone that knows English write the instructions.

This item was purchased to replace camper shell back window struts. They had matching information and these work amazingly well they’re pretty stiff and strong. They’re probably overkill for what I needed. They definitely work much better than the old ones.

Purchased the struts by getting length and pound measurement from old shocks. Extremely easy installation. Struts were a little stiff but after opening and closing a number of times worked just fine. I would highly recommend them.
