Like a lot of pet parents, nail trims are a nightmare. My dogs are super nervous about anything loud and hate to have their nails trimmed. I've tried similar nail grinding tools that are louder and the sandpaper easily comes off the spool. This has a diamond encrusted wheel so I don't have to stop and replace the spool and I expect it will last a long while. Incredibly quiet, even on high. Rechargeable so I don't have to worry about having the right batteries. Of course my dogs are still not a fan of getting their nails trimmed but this makes it infinitely easier. Highly recommend!!

I have had a time with my little 5 pound baby girl Malshi. She has never liked getting her nails trimmed and I finally started taking her to the vet to get it done every month. She did not like it there either so it was not me! Then COVID19 and I could not take her over, I had to do it again. Still the same challenge so I found this grinder that said it was ultra quiet. I was skeptical and even more skeptical if she would let me near her with it. First time out, worked perfectly for her. I turned it on and just let her listen to it and explore (snif) it. I started with just a couple seconds on her front toes. Next time out I did the back ones, just a couple seconds each. Worked up to being able to do front and back in one sitting and how ever long I need to go on each one. Great Product and would recommend to anyone with a pet who is anxious about the nail clipping thing.

This is one of those: “why didn’t I buy this earlier” moments. The trimmer is solid, well balanced, and very very quiet. It takes what used to be a stressful and arduous task of nail trimming and makes it faster and easier for all. I was really happy with initial build quality and balance in my hand. The Gimars exceeded all my expectations.

This was purchased for my older dog who is now blind and has never ever liked her nails trimmed. We hadn't had them trimmed in a while due to not wanting to add further stress to her. Her nails were getting out of control, so did some research and made this purchase! It took her a while to settle down, but I managed to get them all trimmed up again. It is quiet and the charge lasted for the entire time, and trust me, it took a long time! My younger 2 dogs want nothing to do with it, but they can go to the groomers easily enough unlike my older dog.

Not real impressed doesn’t really bring the dogs nail down and it throws chunks out that comes towards your eyes. Need to wear safety glasses. I have sheltie's one has EASY pink nails that clip off easy and she doesn't mind the process. The other has THICK dark nails that are a royal pain to clip and she hates submitting to nail clipping, but she grows the fastest nails on the planet. Got this to see if it would ease the chore. Very easy to operate, and SO quiet. Both didn't balk at having this on their nails and was able to do a much better job on the dark nails. I have to keep them trimmed or that one has paw slaying which is horrible for her gait/posture. Would recommend this for making a not so great chore way easier

My 4-month-old puppy needs to have his nails trimmed, but we are so afraid to cut dog nails by ourselves. One of my friends suggested us to buy a grinder instead of a clipper, so we decide to give a shot. It turns out a good buy. It is a powerful tool but very quiet. My dog is not afraid of the sound and eventually is willing to let us grinding his claws after a few attempts. It is a convenient tool for dog owners to save time and headaches.

I trimmed up my cat’s nail and it was a breeze. The unit is rechargeable by USB which is a real plus because you won't have a cord to plug in a deal with. I really like quality of the diamond grit wheel.I was skeptical as I had one that was battery operated many months ago and it didn't work well. This is USB charged but the grinder turns super quick ,I charged this prior to use and managed to trim both cats nails with no change to the power. it is so much easier than I thought!
