Theyworked perfect
It was recommended by a wound RN, who told us we could get it on Amazon. It saved so much time.

These are not as easy to don as "normal" socks
I am reordering these, and decided to write this review in part because I am surprised by the negative reviews posted. I have the impression that several of those reviewers are relatively new to wearing and buying compression stockings. Yes, a two-pack always means one pair, not two pairs. And yes, they can be a challenge to put on. And yes, these are expensive- nearly three times as much as the more common Futuro socks. In our situation, however, they are priceless. Before I found these, my husband was wearing Futuro dress socks in medium, with moderate compression- BUT ONLY WHEN I PUT THEM ON HIM MYSELF. If he was in a hurry (frequently), or if I was out of town- he reverted to the stash of forbidden "normal" socks he'd saved for that purpose. (And yes, I bought various sock-donning gadgets- all rejected by hubby- before I found these socks.) Predictably, his swelling was not fully under control until I bought these socks. THESE socks are the first compression socks that he himself can (and will!) put on by himself. These are not as easy to don as "normal" socks, but they are MUCH easier than typical moderate compression stockings. For a number of months now hubby has never reverted to socks without compression as long as a pair of these Core-Spun socks is clean and available. He even likes the feel of these socks better than the Futuro- they have a thicker, more substantial feel with more cushioning than most compression stockings. They look more like normal socks, but they do the job. Over time, the fact that he wears these moderate compression stockings *consistently* has meant that we're no longer vacillating between swollen, painful legs with alarming ulcerations and me nursing those wounds and having to insist like a shrew that he take the time to let me put his socks on for him. These Core-Spun socks have become his new normal socks, and made life more normal and comfortable for both of us. (Regarding sizing, these might run a tiny bit smaller than Futuro. My husband wears a medium in both brands, but if a medium Futuro is barely large/long enough for you, I'd recommend you try the next size up when ordering these.)

Perfect pressure
While easy to get off and on, these stockings provide just the right amount of support. The medium size is a bit long for me so I do fold down the tops a bit. Good length for my 6 foot tall husband. The small size is perfect for me.

To long for petite women.
I'm a petite woman with large calves and ankles. The socks were to long for me in the foot by two inches. And, the length from knee to foot also about two inches. But, I had to order the size I purchased to fit the circumference of my calf.I wish I could find socks that are shorter. It would stop excess material that always bunches and cuts into leg.

comfortable support stockings
I like everything about these stockings which I order for my husband. Our physician recommended them. First I put on knee high silk stockings which allow for greater ease in putting on the compression stockings. My husband says the compression stockings are very comfortable with the correct amount of stretch to support his legs. The stockings are very competitive price wise, lasting for months through repeated wear and washings.

the best available
These are my husbands favorite. They are reasonably priced compared to other good quality compression socks. The only problem is that they are usually "out of stock" I have to check to see if they are available. Recently I set up a system so that when they ARE in stock, I am notified. That helps a lot. These are softer and have more of a cotton feel. Certainly the best I have found for my picky husband. And I HAVE ordered a number of the "cheap" ones advertised. He doesn't like them. They generally are nylon, and not soft.

If you have to wear them, these are the best
Sure you can find compression socks at a lower price, but you get what you pay for. These are the brans my doctor recommended and the price here on Amazon is much better than through the doctor. I've had a DVT and a PE and have to wear these for the rest of my life. My life is worth the best and this brand is the best I have found
