Bosch ProfessionalGCY 42 Bluetooth Connectivity module (not incl. software)

Great add on, as the expensive Boschtools already have the technology built-in.

Had to buy this because it was missing from the grinder I bought off amazon. Fitted it worked perfectly first time, also fitted it to my sds worked first time on that too , very easy to fit no problems at all. Think Bosch being a big platform in power tools should be fitting it as standard and be in with the price.

I bought these at a good price compared to other resellers at the time, but the features configurable on each tool is limited at best!On the drills I think it’s kickback control and how long the LED illuminates, impact driver is LED and possibly soft start, and with the connected chargers, it’s just setting the advanced charging programs and seeing charge status.Do you need them…. No, or at least I don’t! Should they be included as standard with connected tools…. Yes! Why did I buy them? To be honest because I was intrigued to see what you could set, and they were relatively cheap, but would I recommend them to others?Unless you have a specific reason to buy, or you’re fussy like me and want to complete the tool and get them at a sensible price then I’d say invest in something that will add value to you work like a new set of bits. But that’s only my opinion.I’ve still given 4 stars as they do work as advertised, easy to install and do provide basic functions.

Great product now I can change the impact driver to soft start.Also a battery is included.

Blue tooth range is poor. Will not connect with the floor directly below only 3 mtrs awayand only a single brick wall. Not worth 30 pounds and the module should be in the price of the tool, it is a gimmick.

Zoals ik gewend ben van Bosch Blauw werkt ook dit prima.

Naja was soll ich hier groß schreiben. Der Einbau ist kinderleicht. Die Bedienung in der App ebenfalls. Es gibt Geräte, die davon einen Nutzen haben und anderen eben nicht.Das Gerät selbst funktioniert natürlich wunderbar. Eventuell könnte es günstiger sein, aber das ist ja immer subjektiv.In einem Akkuschrauber würde ich es jetzt nicht einbauen. In einer Tauchsäge schon.

The media could not be loaded.  el módulo funciona perfectamente, aún no le encuentro una aplicabilidad útil, en si la compré para tener completo mi taladro, pero y funcionar funciona bien, creo que es mas para dar información sobre el dispositivo al que se lo pones, aunque los segundos que dura el led de trabajo al accionar el gatillo se controla desde ahí también las funciones de interfaz de usuario, en fin para algo servirá, y de momento va bien.

This is a cool feature to have with the Bosch tools.For this price I think it is a nice to have and I regret nothing.
