Nicely made and looks great.
I just installed this and it looks great. Exactly as expected, well made and an easy install. We ordered the larger 17” which is perfect for the 42” table beneath it.

Great light; doesn’t illuminate top half of the room but there’s a workaround
We are decorating our son’s nursery in a ‘camp’ theme and this light is the perfect fit. It was hard to find a galvanized ceiling light that was big enough for a 12’ x 15’ room, and this one is perfectly proportionate. Keep in mind that it only illuminates what’s underneath it (and not above). If you want to light the top portion / ceiling in the room, I recommend an oversized (9”) incandescent globe bulb that hangs slightly below the edge of the light, as the light is then directed upward more.

well made
I had already purchased this item to replace a ceiling fan over the dining room table. Since then, one of the two hanging lights over the kitchen counter had to be replaced. So I ordered two more. I really like the fact that it uses a high wattage bulb which is difficult to find. The "shade" portion is all metal which is another good point. The item was very well packed and arrived quickly.
