Worth the money
I use this controller to play older playstation games on my computer, like final fantasy 7 from steam. Plug and play, adequately comfortable, it still works fine despite my 5 year old having put it through the paces. The only grievance I have is that the button icons don't align with the original playstation controller icons; so when I find myself facing in game instructions for how to do things, I keep discovering that the buttons they are telling me are different from the buttons I expect.Still worth the money, this is a close imitation, I just find the button icons to be a recurring nuisance.

Wears out after 2 months tops
THE GOOD:It looks nice and special.Plug it into USB and good to go.Works well enough nothing spectacular.THE BAD:Buttons wear out after 1-2 months of use.I've had 2 of these so far. One that I purchased initially and a 2nd that the company sent as replacement. It looks nice and gets the job done for awhile but the face buttons and D-pad use a cheap rubber membrane as a spring in order to break the button pressing contact. I ordered one of these back in April and after about a month of playing old Armored Core games the X button had gone limp. When I opened it up I saw this rubber membrane over it was around 2/3rds of the way torn. The second one worked for almost a month before developing the same problem. In offset this company does respond to support emails and is nice enough to replace it when asked. They are sending a third one now but I have no idea how many times they'll be willing to do this. If they had just spent a little more money in its construction this would be a solid gamepad. There is a time to spend money and a time to pick something up for cheap. Choose carefully.

Nice controller
This is a pretty nice controller especially for the price I bought it for. I have very tiny hands so it’s a bit large for me but I can still use it without issue. It feels very light in my hands. The layout of the select and start buttons is a little weird but I’m used to other controllers so I think it’s just a matter of getting used to it. All the buttons work and are responsive though they’re pretty loud compared to most controllers I’ve used. That’s no big deal for me though. The cord length is pretty long. I didn’t have any issues getting it to work on my pc. I just plugged it in and it worked automatically.

Good Controller but needed Drivers
This is a good controller but needed drivers to function. Luckily Rii has their website on the box. They don't have GP500 but they do have GP400 drivers, which is what I used. Drivers install as ShanWan. After installing, I was then able to configure in windows setup. I am unsure if drivers needed to be installed for linux. The controller is small, compact and comfortable. Turbo and Clear key doesn't work too well for me but I didn't need those functions. This is one of the best budget wired usb ps2 style controllers IMO.

The cord is about 3 1/2 feet long. Otherwise good.
My own fault for not reading the small print where it says 140cm, i guess. I don't get how anyone reviewing this item says the cord is long. Based off of that, people reviewing charging cables would says the 3 foot version is extra long.

not bad
Its not a bad controller, but I dropped it by accident, now something inside is rattling a little, plus each time I use it for a computer, have to unplug then plug back in to use, can be annoying.

Good
It works with most of my games but not all for some reason but it works better than the other one I ordered so all in all good controller.

Poorly made
Preface: I take care of my things - I did not drop or manhandle this device. Within a week of using one of these gamepads, the first thing I noticed is that the d-pad buttons are TOO STIFF. I was looking for a replacement for my F310 gamepad and I wanted a similar controller style to Sony products (I am not a fan of the position of the d-pad on Microsoft-like controllers. I'm a vs. fighting game player and it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to comfortably pull off a fireball motion consistently. Especially to the right. They are so stiff, you'll get blisters reminiscent of the old NES controller days. I don't even bother anymore with QCFx2 or even HCF motions. Absolutely horrible. Additionally, something is loose inside the controller. Also, the analog stick now gets stuck in the 'up' position. Furthermore, if you have more than one of these gamepads plugged in, I have noticed that several games map inputs to BOTH controllers. I have tried removing all other devices from the computer AND operating system (Win 10) but some games still map controls across both controllers. If I had 4 hands, this would work, but I'm human.
