I got this for $10 and I am pretty happy with the product. Probably not best if you are an advanced ocarina player or hoping to learn advanced skills but for playing around with it works well, sounds well, and looks nice too.

I'm sorry to tell you that this ocarina is not in tune and is an out of tune instrument.The position of the last hole is also incorrect.This ocarina must be calibrated by filing the holes.Unfortunately my white example has a detached ceramic part inside which does not allow this operation without damaging the musical instrument.Could I have been unlucky?!Yes, i'm sure of this !The seller was very kind and thoughtful and also very professional in reporting the problem to the manufacturer.In any case, I am very satisfied with this experience and will continue to buy the products offered by mguitarstore!

This is the first ocarina I ever tried. The tone is beautiful - clear and warm. It comes with a nice bead necklace that you can optionally connect to the instrument. The song book with tutorial is small but accurate and complete.I would have kept it except that the smaller holes that have to be covered in addition to the larger ones when playing some notes, it was impossible for my fingers. I needed to find an ocarina with closer spacing. From what I have observed, this is pretty much a "normal" ocarina, and my thin, bony fingers made the trouble.

We love instruments in our household, and I picked up this one as something different to add to the mix. Whether or not its a high-quality one, I couldn't say, but it does give a decent impression. Definitely good enough for playing for personal enjoyment or at gatherings as a little extra fun.It comes with a neck strap, which fits over my son's very large head only with difficulty. The rest of us had no issues, however. The booklet it comes with offers the first songs and enough to get a bit familiar with the instrument. It's already offered us playing joy and is a nice addition to our musical moments.

Gave this to my musician nephew, it seems very interested in learning a new instrument!Nice sound quality, and crafted nicely, although the plastic case is cheaply made!

This was a gift for someone who has loved music since childhood, writes and performs. And he has always been drawn to unusual or different instruments. This was one of three we gave him this Christmas. He immediately started playing it.

Fun, beginner instrument with images on how to produce each note. It helps to have some idea of what notes are and some instruction on how to play but there are online videos with basic instructions and you can find simple songs online as well. Sounds lovely!

My granddaughter likes this ocarina. It's more like a whistle though. Much higher pitched than I expected given it's supposed to be an alto instrument. I'm a musician and I would not classify this as alto. It's also quite fragile. She dropped it on the carpet and it broke shortly after I gave it to her. She can still play it, but I won't be buying another one either way. It is beautiful, or it was until she broke it.

Pas d'une précision professionnelle mais pour le prix il ne faut pas rêver non plus... C'est très sympa pour se lancer (j'envisage maintenant d'acheter un double ou triple chambres car on peut être assez vite limité à condition de maîtriser un minimum la musique ou d'être sûr d'être sûr de continuer à en jouer ou a apprendre car le budget grimpe très vite, entre 5 et 30x le prix de celui ci...) et je lui ai ajouté une sourdine qui est assez chère (mais il peut être transféré d'un ocarina à l'autre ! Il n'existe qu'un seul modèle à la connaissance et qu'on peut commander du Japon pour une quarantaine d'€) mais qui est indispensable si vous voulez en jouer sans déranger les gens autour de vous sous peine de ne pouvoir en jouer que seul dans votre chambre... Ça réduit entre un tiers et la moitié du volume, ce qui n'est pas négligeable car c'est vrai que le volume de base est assez élevé, ce qui peut vite taper sur le système (surtout celui des autres) et finir par vous décourager de l'utiliser, ce qui serait triste vu sa si belle sonorité.

Ma fille est ravi de cet instrument qui n'est pas facile à jouer mais elle s'en sort plutot pas trop mal. L'instrument est super beau et robuste franchement on y croirais presque un professionel.
