my bad. Found the fasteners attached to the bottom.
The mat is of acceptable quality, but I did not receive any fasteners as advertised. If the vendor sees this and sends me some fasteners, I will update this review.I found them. My fault. Very happy with the product.

Not secure on dash surface
Adhesive strips do not stick to the pebbled surface of the dashboard. Need better system to attach. The dashmat itself is fine.
