Story Time Dice: Scary Tales - Glows in The Dark by Imagination Generation

The cubes are fun shapes with LOTS of images to work with. They even glow in the dark for more fun. The kids played for hours and made up great stories. This game is a winner

These are so fun! The glow is excellent and the options are endless fun.

I don't know if the images really get across the size of these things. They're probably 50% lager than standard polyhedral dice. Nothing wrong with that. Just something to know. The dice are pretty nice, and they roll well. There's a little guide to help you in your story creation, but I like just rolling them and seeing what the images make me think of. I've been using them for tabletop RPG encounter design, just to give a dash of random inspiration.And they glow in the dark, for what that's worth.

I really like these dice. I think it is a novel approach to story-telling, especially collaborative storytelling!The glow-in-the-dark is more novelty that anything else, they do glow, but not well enough to be read in the dark.The dice are a bit larger, but I think that is good as some of the icons are still pretty small. As an adult with fairly large hands, I have no problem holding them all at once, but for a child it might be difficult. Rolling them out of a cup, pulling them out of a bag or rolling them one at a time might make this easier.My complaints are fairly minor. Firstly, some of the inking on the dice isn't well done. A few of the designs on the tools dice (mainly the shovel and the smoke bomb) are not fully inked in, which makes them a bit harder to read. There are also minor ink smears (that I can't clean up) on some of the dice.

These dice are pretty good. Now that I've been using them and writing down the combinations that I roll out I realize I would like some more dice for unique options for even stranger stories. But these dice are excellent for what they were made for. Young people will enjoy using these to fall in love with storytelling. The brave will find that these dice can create stories with just a toss. But be very careful with these dice as they can inspire stories that will frighten, and maybe even induce nightmares...depending on the storyteller and the story they weave. GREAT DICE!

My 7 year old son loves anything scary, so these were perfect! I find they help teach the elements of stories well. You have the setting, the protagonist (hero), antagonist (monster), the climax and the resolution. We sometimes reverse the story and tell it from the antagonist's point of view too. They don't glow as well as I had hoped and the pictures of the tools are so small that sometimes you have to use the paper which lists all the pictures to get an idea what the tool is. That's not an issue for us because everything else about these dice are perfect. I highly recommend.

The item arrived in fine condition, no problems with shipment. The only thing I'd like to see is that the dice come with a sturdy plastic or metal container to keep them in. But that's not a huge problem, so five stars are fitting. I do like the fact that the product comes with a description of all the dice in the set, breaking them down by category.

Los uso para jugar con mis alumnos y estan muy satifechos, ayuda a los niños a desarrollar una mente creativa y rapida, brillan en la obscuridad, si los dejas al sol brillan mucho, me hubiera gustado que la caja hubiera sido de un material mas resistente como en otras versiones de dados que he visto pero definitivamente me gusto, el manual todo bien explicado.

Los dados son lindos, lucen bien, y el tamaño es adecuado.La caja es muy fragil, eso sí. Y la impresión de un par de mis dados no era muy buena.
