With the clips you really can only put them on one side. Or angled to the back. But they are still really cute and worth it. We use them for my one year old to keep her bangs growing to the side out if her face

You never know when ordering clothing and such from Amazon. It can look nice in the picture, then not so good in real life. But I'm happy to say these little girl bows are really nice! They are cute, wrapped so they don't tug hair, stay in, and are well made. I would buy again.
