This is my 2nd one because my other one blew up but that’s doesn’t mean it’s rubbish .. the back of my cooker heated the cable 🤦🏻‍♀️My cooker rings keep tripping my mains so this has been a godsend until I move house as I didn’t want to be paying twice in a few months for installation…If using your cookers oven at the same time and you have this sitting on top of the cooker like I am then protect the cable like I didn’t 😆

I can not recommend enough that you avoid this product it doesn't do what it claims. It's one purposes and that's get hot enough to cook anything I ended up having to throw away 12 quid worth of chicken since it couldn't get hot enough to even put any colour on the meat. Mainly the reason this is a no go it simply isn't safe when you consider there is no garentee it will cook meat to a safe temperature so because of that avoid this at all cost

Bought for camping for weight purposes heats up very quick white part of cooker gets very hot so be careful before use pre heat for 15 minutes to burn off

Bought 2 for a kids activity in half term - making pancakes. The fist one, Yup, I 'burnt' off the chemicals that are always on new electric products, but soon after that acrid smoke came belching out. Unplugged it and moved onto the next one. Chemicals burnt off. We made 3 pancakes then more acrid smoke. End of making pancakes. I returned both to amazon.
