Shoe supports are removable! Also, be sure to wipe this down once before putting your fresh clean laundry on it!
Well! When my dryer went kaput, I decided to take advantage of the hot summer sun to dry clothing. Only problem was, I had no clothes drying rack. I attempted to use hangers to drape wet clothes awkwardly on the edge of bookshelves, chair posts, etc. Ensue moldy-smelling laundry that took forever to dry, and made an already small condo claustrophobic. So I decided to look on Amazon for a clothes drying rack like the one I had in my childhood (twenty-odd years ago).I skipped past everything wood (splinters), painted (it WILL chip) and tall (not very stable, unless it's also correspondingly very heavy). What I found was what was described in some Amazon reviews as "gullwing". I just thought of this as the normal clothes rack, as this is the ubiquitous cheap clothes rack found everywhere in Asia.It shipped very quickly (go Amazon Prime!) in a large flat cardboard box. When I opened up the box, I found the clothes rack was folded up and shrinkwrapped tightly in plastic, with the dorky looking paper picture taped on, as seen above.First things I noticed:1) Get a wet rag with some vinegar. This is direct from factory, so yeah, there are smudgy dusty remains on the otherwise bright frame.2) The bottom plastic corner traction support "feet" on the edges (4 total) was made of blue plastic that smeared bluish remains on my cleaning rag. The rest of the plastic on the drying rack didn't have this issue, as far as I can tell, but not wanting to risk blue stains on my floor, I decided to go ahead and remove these feet. They pry off very easily, and I won't need extra support or traction, since I'll be mostly using this indoors. Just in case, I will keep them aside.3) For everyone who is bothered by the little shoe drying supports, these can easily be folded down and out of the way, pushed to the side, or removed entirely. They are removed more easily than the feet, even. Once again, in case I ever wash shoes (ehhh) I will keep them for now.One note: to have the arms extended at full height (aka, if you place the support arms at the closest bar) you may need to fold the bottom horizontal rack up a little bit to get room to maneuver both support arms in. In case you have long pants/ towels to dry.Overall, this looks like a nice, sturdy but cheap rack. Happy so far as it was shipped right away, and arrived intact.Note: I paid full price for this item and am giving an honest and unbiased review anyway! I felt like other Amazoners might like to hear that the shoe supports are easily removed! (In case that alone is stopping you from buying this item.) Star/Like my review if it was helpful to you!

Practical drying rack
This rack works great. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's not exactly the size quoted in the ad. The actual size when folded out is 57 inches long x almost 22 inches wide x 37 1/2 inches high. It's the exact same size as the "honey can do" rack that my daughter has. Each top half can be adjusted up & down. On the highest adjustment, the end bar is 51 1/2 inches off the floor. I like the stainless steel bars - no paint to scratch off. Also, I can use regular wooden clothespins on them. (The "honey can do" rack needs the fat plastic pins) It is sturdy enough to hang jeans and heavy towels. The rack is not too heavy (but not flimsy, either) & is easy to fold up for storage.

Broke after 8 months of indoor use.
This rack worked great for 8 months, until the plastic middle piece snapped and rendered the whole thing useless. This product should last way longer than this! I've never taken it outside and it was extremely versatile. Very disappointing.

Two Stars
When we opened the package, it seemed to be used. It was scratched and just had a used look.

I think it is still usable and I do not feel like going through the hassle of sending such a large ...
The design of the rack is okay. I will still need to see how well it works. The problem is that it arrived damaged. The bottom support and the top support both are both bent. I am going to send it back.

Awesome rack! Easy to move with it being lightweight and foldable. At first I didn't understand why it had such good reviews and was going to send it back because the sides wouldn't stay up with heavier towels. I realized there were 2 metals bars below that you could swing up to lock the sides in place from drooping or sagging. Once I discovered that I realized that yes this is a great product. We use this for the pool for our wet suits and towels and the kids have a place to put everything vs hanging them over a chair or leaving them in a heap on the ground. Highly recommend.

Yea it works
I generally wait to review items until I’ve had them for awhile. We’ve had this for years. Nothing has broke and no rust. Sit it up in the spare bedroom and turn on the ceiling fan, works like a charm. Used multiple times a week.

Stronger than I expected
quite strong - better than I expected. Easily supports as many heavy dripping wet sweaters as I can fit on it. Sets up easily, folds up just as quickly and stores flat in a few inches. Mine rocks a little once it's set up but not an issue once there's cloths on it. Not sure what the yellow things on the bottom were intended to do but they un-snap at the top to rotate away from the legs to allow wet shoes to dry.
