Life saver!!
This mat has helped me improve my tamping. My portafilter has a splitter which means tamping on a normal mat is pretty much impossible. This fixes all of that. Make sure your counter top has a square edge and you will love this thing!!!

Doesn't work in front of drawers with thin counters
Overall it works well. The lip is longer than the granite countertops in my kitchen though and it can't stay in place while I open the drawer without dumping grounds into the drawer.
