This is NOT the kind of book you can read once and never pick up again. The ideas presented are truly different from what 99% of talent and corporate marketing teams are doing right now. Highly recommend

The goal is to attract the right people who would be excited and thrive when facing your unique challenges and helping other candidates self-select out of the recruiting process who wouldn't, helping limit the strain on your recruiting funnel.I loved the idea about showing all sides of the business and can't wait to apply concept for my clients when helping them establish their strategy.

Fresh Perspectives We've Been Waiting For
The majority of Employer Brand and Talent Managment books are written from an academic or marketing point of view. This book breaks the mold with actionable, fresh, and impactful insights on how companies can communicate their brand to current and future employees that will drive their business forward. having both the agency and practitioner viewpoint is rare. Talent organizations will need to know how to "Repel the many, Compel the few" as the talent market changes as the world recovers from the Corona virus pandemic. Good timing to read the book and help companies stay ahead of the curve.

Need more facts, social media, updated branding approach.
This book has too many personal stories. It’s very old school to branding and marketing. There’s no facts, figures, analytics, social media tools and tactics used today by millennials. I wouldn’t recommend.

Resonated on multiple levels
The moment I began reading Give & Get, I found myself nodding in agreement. The commiseration with the experiences and insights shared throughout the book continued as I turned each page. Charlotte and Bryan fly in the face of the traditional concepts of EVP and Employer Brand, keep it real and not only address the challenges of EB - they introduce and explain a new way to approach these challenges. From the start, you're learning rather than waiting for some magical fix. Filled with great examples, and a true understanding of what EB professionals are facing internally (and externally), this should be required reading for leadership teams, Marketing teams and People Ops/Experience teams before going down the EB path.

GIVES a lot....!!!
Fantastic read with a game-changing view that pushes the world of employer branding to new levels. What's great is that it is built with knowledge, know-how and results from working with some of the biggest brands on the planet. Really easy to read with analogies and insightful stories which will not just change the way you think - but also help you pick it up and do it!

Invaluable insight
Employer Branding is a relatively new phenomena, one that is often overlooked by even the largest companies, and yet it is vital to the success of a brand. If you can't attract the best candidates how you can deliver the best customer experience? Bryan and Charlotte provide you with practical examples of how to achieve this based on their considerable track record. They provide a wealth of knowledge to the reader, some of which is surprisingly counter-intuitive, but is always based on real-world experience. Excellent read.

Loved the book, and couldn’t put it down once i started. Completely different to any other books i’d read on Employer Branding with some amazing stories and examples of how companies can adopt some of the philosophies and use in their own Talent Attraction campaigns.Well written, and a compelling read from start to finish.
