Q: Any tips for putting on the keyrings?

It comes with a hole punch to make a hole in the piece before you put it in the oven. Once it has shrunk, the hole will still be big enough to attach it to the keyrings provided.

Q: Do you just do the shrink plastiv and pencils?

They are great fun for youngsters. You cut the shape out and colour it in on the rough side. Then you put them on a baking tray and put them in the oven to shrink them. Don't let the children touch them until they have cooled down.

Q: Can you not use a heat gun for this?

I guess it depends on how hot the heat gun gets and if it would stay still, if the plastic heats up too much or moves it can curl and double over ruining the design you've made. I guess you could test it. In the oven its able to lay flat and have a steady heat.

Q: Sometimes the hole is not there when I take it out the oven? What am I doing wrong?

We found the same so finding it easier drilling a small hole once they are done
