Caliper bolts are not supposed to break when you are tightening them. Tightening of the bolts ensure that the side pulls do not align lopsided.5 Stars: This product delivers what the seller claims, and the product demonstrates superior quality compared to other products in the market. Poor materials
The front brake bolt snapped like a twig in a light breezey puff of wind. Actually the twig would had been stronger than the bolt. Cables seemed fine but what good are they if the brake can't be installed. I'm cheap but this is not worth the money. It's sad the bolt (which should be the strongest point) is made so poorly because the rest of the product seemed nice. I was using a tiny cresent wrench so I wasn't laying into it either...just cheap, weak, materials.

Easy to put on if you know what you're doing
Brakes went right on. Many reviewers are complaining about screws breaking or not being long enough. First, one of the calipers is for the front (shorter mounting screw) and one is for the rear. Make sure you put them on the proper end. Second, make sure you're squeezing the caliper when you tighten down the cable screw to relieve pressure from it, otherwise the screw can break. If you keep tension off while tightening (with your fingers, a vice grip, or coat hanger) you shouldn't have any issues.Make sure you measure both the back and front for the reach measurement. I only measured the front on one of my bikes and while the front fit fine, the rear was too short.

Works for cruiser beach bike!
Easy to install. I watched a YouTube video and was able to figure it out in 20 minutes. I installed this on a huffy cruiser with wide rims and it's a bit tight but it did fit and does work

These attach to the bicycle draw via a round bolt. No matter how tight I make it, they still pull toward the wire and then drag against the rim. I tightened the bolt so much it stripped the bolt. I had to take off several washers to even get it to tighten again. Maybe they should make the bolt square or design a different way of attaching it to the frame. They look nice however...

Great set of brakes!
Fits great with our 24 inch Huffy cruiser!! Cruiser had wide tires/fenders and we had no issue fitting the brakes. Awesome product!! No instructions included...but very easy to find on the videos on YouTube that make it super easy! - shows the actual product[...]- shows installation of a very similar product[...]

You get what you pay for
These are budget brakes. They do what they’re meant to do, but the pads are terrible. I would replace the pass shortly after installing as I plan to do. Also the instructions are worthless and I had to watch a YouTube video to install them. When you install them they are specific to the front and back so don’t get them mixed up. The one with the longer stud goes on the front.
