Ordered 10/20 for my ceiling fan in laundry room but forgot it uses a smaller base lightbulb. Used it instead in my side entry hallway which I use most often. It has worked beautifully lighting up my entry even before I get the door unlocked (Motion detected through window in door). It's motion detector has been flawless, no quirks or problems. Very pleased. You do have to be cognizant of where you hope to use it because it must be able to pick up motion so that eliminates a lot of fixtures. My hallway light is a caged industrial design so worked well. I didn't mind having a bare bulb hanging from my ceiling fan in the laundry room but as noted, that was not meant to be.

My bathroom light fixture stopped working. Another inconvenience is when my bathroom was redone the first contractor never moved the light switch into the bathroom, so the switch is right outside the bathroom doorBeing broke, I got a clip on lamp, attached it the medicine cabinet door, keep it turned in and plugged into the GFI outlet and use this motion light bulb. Works perfectly. So much so I don't know if I'll worry about calling about getting my fixture repaired.Light is white (daylight) and very bright.

The product works exactly as advertised. As seen on the description, that means the bulb tip must be exposed, not behind glass. Mine is in a clear glass fixture with an open bottom, so the range is severely reduced. I'm considering buying a bulb socket extender (for a couple of bucks) to position the bulb lower in the fixture, although it won't look as nice.UPDATE: I added socket extenders, and they work a little better, at least enough to catch anyone or anything at the doorway.Keep in mind that cool white light attracts more bugs than warm white. Everyone seems to love the cool white light (my wife included), since it's a newer trend. The good news is, bugs are also attracted to warmth, and LEDs are cold, so that helps reduce the bugs. So perhaps it's a wash.UPDATE: Reduced to 4 star. I have had numerous occasions where I discover the light stays on all day, without ever touching the switch. There is an always-on feature you can activate by rapidly turning it off and on, which I do not use. I'm guessing the bulb is getting switched into that mode from a momentary power flicker. I have two bulbs (different sides of house) with the same issue. I'm OK if an actual power outage causes this, but the bulbs seem way too sensitive to this problem. My old light fixtures with built-in sensors did not suffer from this issue.

These do not detect motion from a good distance you have to get really close to set them off. I originally wanted to see them come on if someone was walking down the street however they will just come on if you are right in front of it on the porch or in front of the garage. The light is bright and white, good color. One of the two bulbs worked perfectly, the other kept turning on and off even without motion. I read somewhere that you could reset it by flipping the light switch on/off 4 times. Surprisingly this worked but not sure for how long. Will update if still having issues. I put one on front of the garage and one on the front porch.

This product only senses movement a few feet away. It does not detect through glass so is useless as an outdoor light. Indoors, again, cannot put a light globe over it. Even then, it only senses the movement if you are very close to it, and then it only stays on a few seconds. You can flick the switch twice to keep it on as a normal light, but what use is that? I would not recommend this bulb.

I have nearly converted all my lights to the Sengled brand. I decided to try the motion sensor one since I've had great experiences with the other lights from Sengled. The motion sensor is very sensitive, so even small movements will knock it on. However, the radius of the sensor isn't that great. Nonetheless, I still find the bulb very useful. I no longer have to run back into the house and flip the switch on to do my laundry when it is nighttime. The lights automatically sense when it is day time and do not turn on if you move near by. I would buy this light if you are placing it directly over where you need the lights on. The main upside of this bulb is also one of it's downsides. It will turn off if there is no movement within the motion sensor's radius.

I ordered these for a walk-in pantry where I often had my hands full and couldn't turn on the light. They were super convenient, but both of them stopped working within a month. They just stay on all the time. Until then, they were exactly what I needed.

Great product, they look great in my place. Plenty bright enough. Put these in my garage and they work great. Put these in my garage and they work great. Sometimes I want the light to stay on without detecting motion. This lamp perfectly meets my needs. I can turn off the sensor by a quick double-click, so that the light bulb can become the state I want, and I can also turn on the sensor by a quick double-click. Highly recommended!!!
