Great River Company Yamaha EF2000iS Generator Magnetic Dipstick Oil Filler

Excellent item, mates well with the DuroMax XP2000iS. I highly recommend purchasing and installing before your first start of the generator, this works to pull all of the factory shmoo out of the oil during the break-in period, likely extending the live of the generator.Be careful, it heats up more than the stock plastic dip-stick, so it will be hot on oil-changed.Also, consider engraving the oil-level on the magnetic part.The funnel is useless for filling as you need to see the threads in the opening to determine the correct amount of oil, however it is indispensable when draining the oil. Help keep the oil off of the plastic drain-way. Much easier to clean up.

Fits my Yamaha clone duromax xp2000is generator; during break in it caught a bunch of metal sludge. Only downside: it is lousy for seeing the oil level based on its light color (I just use the original plastic dipstick for that), but is definitely worth it. The filler extension was very helpful in changing the oil, just use the funnel when you refill.Winter 2017 update: I purchased a larger Duromax XP4850EH propane/gas generator to be able to run my well pump; turns out this dipstick fits it perfectly too! I used it on my initial 3 hour break in run and checked it every 30 minutes- it pulled some metal sludge and a few metal shards/filings.

This is the real deal. Magnetic dipstick and extension to change oil easily. It’s nice to purchase something that actually works as advertised!

Well made and a nice addition to my generator. I modified the cover on my generator so I could use the drain extension without removing it (the big cover). This helps. Refilling the oil is still a pain and the extension really doesn't help much so just use a clear plastic funnel. I'm impressed with the quality of the extension and the plug, nicely done.

Must have accessory for any smaller generator. Save your engine the extra wear from loose machine shavings contaminating the oil. Also love the oil drain extension. Makes draining oil way less stressful and cleaner!Very happy with my purchase! 😃

Made well works as described. I would say the better half is the oil drain side. Really helps keep gen clean from spills.
