A Map of Medieval London: The City, Westminster and Southwark
B**.
A must for those who have an interest in mediaeval London.
(Written by Brenda's husband who is interested in all things London) If you have successfully constructed a reliable time machine and have a yen to explore London well before the Great Fire, then this map will be most helpful in finding your way around. It will not however keep you out of trouble and might even add to your woes if when apprehended it was found on your person! Trying to explain that you were a time-traveller from 2020 might well rapidly increase the dangerous situation that you now found yourself in!

Well researched but huge
This is a very well researched and nicely laid out map of medieval London. If you're happy to home in on specific areas, it's perfect. I would have preferred a more compact format, as it has so much empty space. To see the medieval city as a whole you have to lay it out on the floor: it's too big to fold out while sitting at a desk. But still a magnificent map and great value.
