Great Smoked Oysters
I tried a can of SeaBear Smoked Pacific Oysters when I ordered some other stuff directly from SeaBear. I loved the oysters and when I found them on Amazon the price was really good especially with the subscription. The oysters are caught in the Northwest USA and smoked. I appreciate SeaBear and their standards used in catching their fish. I feel good supporting USA fishermen instead of smoked oysters from Thailand or some other place. These oysters have no oil added and are actually really smoked. I eat them directly out of the can and the cans are super easy to open (no can opener required). They make a great snack and oysters are also high in the mineral zinc. I am not huge on shell fish, but these are definitely worth getting. Very happy with the price at Amazon as they are $9 a can elsewhere and I really can't afford that as much as I like these. The cans are packed full of smoked oysters and big enough to serve a couple people a snack or use in a recipe. I want to try a can in a pasta dish.

Good but expensive
These were really good. Delicately flavored and solidly packed - not floating in oil. My only complaint is that they are just darned expensive!

absolutely delicious
I bought these oysters because they are not from Asia and do not contain added oils. They are delicious ! They are chewier than the oil soaked smoked oysters I used to buy, and I hated that oil squishy flavor. I did not notice any issue with the size of the oysters. Some are bigger than others. Not something I care about. The flavor is really good. Smoky, not too salty, not oily. I eat them straight from the can.

Great Oysters
These oysters are great, good flavor and high quality. Some people have mentioned that the can is full of oyster pieces and that is true. You will be disappointed if you want nothing but whole oysters in the can. I usually don't mention price because I like my reviews to focus on the product itself but at about $10 a can these are a luxury item that I can't afford to buy as often as I would like. Fresh oysters are cheaper even here in landlocked Montana. Great product over all.

Great period...
I love these, when I visited Seattle I bought some and never opened, then I did and went back for this order as it was cheaper than buying direct. I don't care about some of the small pieces, they are little junks of joy and are there to make sure the can is filled. I tried them on crackers.. pasta... loved it all, but right out of the can, perfect. I am not into smoked stuff... but this turned me in to a whole new direction. The price is great, I am trying another brand from the same area, so we shall see. I cannot get enough. And my cans had at least 80% whole 1.5" oytsers so maybe the other person got a bad batch.

Not as good as cheaper brands
Flavor and taste not as nearly as good as cheaper brands.

Smoked Oysters are great!
These smoked oysters from SeaBear were bought for a friend who buys this type of oyster for himself as a special treat. He has never had SeaBear smoked oysters before and said they were the best he's ever eaten. He has a particular taste in foods so I would imagine all the other seafood made by SeaBear is of equal value. I will be purchasing something else in the future but have not made my selection yet.

not worth the money
The first can I opened contained one (yes one!) jumbo whole oyster (about 1.5") and the remainder were chunks of oysters. These weren't whole and then broke into pieces during the canning process, these were chunks that were packed along with the only large oyster in the can! No way you can fit many jumbo oysters in these tuna-sized cans. It would have been better to put these jumbo oysters in one big square can and arrange them like your typical canned smoked oysters and charge $26/can. For now the consumers would have to settle with the chunks, not whole giant oysters as one would expect for about $7 a pop. Not worth it at all.
