This beard oil is great for the value. Not only does it last seemingly forever, but it leaves your beard smooth and moisturized without feeling greasy. I'm not sure it helps moisturize my skin, but it doesn't make me break out like some other brands I've tried.The scent (viking) is fantastic. When first applied, the sent is a bit strong, but it fades into a more subtle scent in the next 15-30 minutes. Or maybe I just get used to it? Regardless, the smell is kind of warm and cozy and not overpowering. Kind of like your favorite flannel. The ladies seem to like it, or at least I haven't had any negative comments on it. I really can't describe exactly what it smells like, unlike the lumberjack oil which smells exactly like you went to home depot and rubbed the 2x4 rack down with your face. Regardless, I'm pretty happy with it and I've purchased this multiple times. It really is one of the best values on beard products that I've tried.

Got the bay rum scent. A very light oil, not heavy on the beard at all. Goes on east and absorbs quickly with no greasy residue. Scent is strong and lasts for a few hours. Wish it had a dropper instead of the stick but honestly it works well with how the oil runs down the stick onto the skin if you press the end of it against your skin at the top of your cheek line. I will def buy another scent soon enough. Def recommend this company.

When I first received this product, I liked it. I liked it a lot. I do not like the scents of leather or sandalwood on my face. I prefer lime, but this brand didn’t offer it. I thought coconut might be a good choice, and it definitely was. I’m guessing I don’t use as much oil as most of their customers because after a few months, the oil lost at scent. If they sold smaller bottles, maybe with 1/4 of the amount of oil, that would probably be perfect for me. Hopefully I would be able to use that amount of oil before it loses it sent.

This is a great beard oil. I have several different brands of oil but this is the first I have tried from the Simply Great lineup. As far as the oil goes, it does exactly what it is supposed to. It is high quality oil (not greasy, not too heavy, not too light or watered down). It is an excellent product.As far as the scent goes, it smells just like old school Barbasol shaving cream. Thus you smell clean and fresh like you just left the barbershop. The scent is not too strong or overwhelming but is very nice and has really good staying power. It does not fade after five minutes but stays with you. Rub your beard after a few hours and it is still there.I think the company should make a sequel to this with a touch of menthol (for those who liked the Barbasol in the green can). Anyway, I highly recommend this product and see it as a nice change of pace from the usual Pine or Citrus or Bay Rum offerings that seem to be standards for the Beard Oil market

It's a much larger bottle than you get from other companies, the scent is accurate to the description, the applicator is nice. I get these for my husband often after trying a LOT of other brands that are mediocre in comparison. It leaves his beard soft and smelling great.

Of all the beard oils, this is definitely one of them. It seems to work fine, but your face will smell like vanilla and almond. Whoever created this has never smelled whiskey or they would have named it something else.

My friends and I were crazy about this beard oil years back. The scent was fantastic and definitely kept the ol’ beard from being scraggly. I recently came back to them to pick up a bottle of my favorite - Sandalwood - but I’m disappointed ☹️ Doesn’t smell quite right and not what I remember purchasing before 🤷‍♂️

The tobacco smell could be overwhelming at first but the conditioning quality is great and lasts very long. You also get a bigger bottle than the usual 2ml. Improvement can be made on how we can dispense this liquid from the bottle..maybe a pump like those in the usual soap dispenser would be good to have here.
