Do not buy this item. I read the reviews and decided to try it out anyways. This is one of those, I should have listened, moments.I found out after many hours of trying to get this quad working with a Raspberry Pi, the APM 2.8 flight controller that is sold with this kit has not been supported since 2015. I did manage to get it working with a very old version of Ardupilot, but with many bugs.One of the ESC's don't work on top of that.The GPS mast does not even bolt to this frame.If you are looking to build a quad, do your research and look elsewhere.

Waste 🗑 of money

This review might be a tad early, but I will update when changes occur.All of the parts look as they were advertised. Everything feels like decent quality. I am happy with respect to that. The GPS attachment is not a fit for this particular drone, though. If you watch the video here you can see they only get one screw in. I have not gotten mine attached, yet.I found another video online describing how to hook the motors up based on what directions they need to spin. I looked up videos as the instructions that come with the drone are essentially worthless. I mean, truly, it might have been better if there had been no instructions at all.I bought an RC controller, but I do not think I am hooking it up correctly as I have yet to get the motors to turn on. I want to try and find a tutorial on how to do this as I have tried every combination I can think of and nothing turns. I have power to everything, but something is not hooked up correctly. The RC controller I got is: FLYSKY FS-i6X 10CH 2.4GHz RC Transmitter Controller/W iA10B Receiver Upgrade Cable. If anyone has any info about how to connect this, please share.So, I see the potential if I am actually able to get it running. Maybe this would be better for someone with prior experience building their own drones (my first attempt).

Please, make no mistake- this kit is nothing but dropped together collection of part.So called instruction covered only basic option, like how to connect legs of drone to bone or mount GPS.Holes for landing gear did not mach anything on the body. There is no instruction, when it suppose to go to.No information or recommended software to use this processor with.Don’t buy this kit unless you have previous experience with drone setup.

Don't waste your time on this product - and the hassle of the return.

Bought this for Christmas gift and first thing to note is that there’s no box. Just a bag full of parts. Big disappointment already. Not feeling optimistic about the thoroughness of the instructions or the quality of the parts.

Esc's 2 don't work. Flight controler won't calibrate. Frame arm bent. Miss matched parts. Over priced.
