A Christmas gift that I hope will be enjoyed!

I bought this for my granddaughters' birthday. It is a very nice lap desk.

While super cute the placement of the slot for a phone or tablet reduces the writing surface to 8 inches from top to bottom. There are areas where the patterned wrap is bubbled or even torn. I had high hopes for this product. But I will have to keep searching.

I got this in September and loved it. However it is now December and the backing fabric has pulled away from the board causing the foam pellets to get all over me my chair and potentially could have caused a hazard for my dog if she has inhaled or eaten one. So unless you have a glue gun to reattach it, which is what I plan to do, I'd think twice about getting this. I mean it's comfortable and nice but could be a hazard for children or pets if it breaks open like mine did.

We have twin girls and they like to sit for hours and draw and colour. It works well. Keeps them from drawing on the sofa arm.
