You had one job -- display _true_ speed
The key term here is "true speed." I discovered this product is *less* accurate than other GPS-enabled devices. I tested it against three different GPS-enabled devices: (1) a dash cam, (2) a Tom Tom GPS (which itself agrees w/ a Magellan Meridian Gold GPS), and (3) an Android phone. These devices all agree on speed while the HUD device deviates. The margin(s?) of error vs. speed appears to follow an increasing curve: on level roadways in cruise control, I documented ~+1.4mph error at 34 & 35mph; ~+2.7mph error at 55 & 56mph; and ~+3.6mph error at 70, 71, 72mph. I agree it's acceptable for a golf cart (as another review noted), but I haul a 7-ton RV and a GPS forces me to glance away momentarily. There is no documentation to adjust its margin(s?) of error, so I notified Amazon I want to return this device. I will continue my search for a forward-facing HUD that displays true speed.

A little pricey for the features, but still pretty nice unit.
Overall I like the unit. It is calibrated a bit high (2 mph) which is a little bothersome. Also, sometimes it can take 5 or more minutes to obtain GPS signals. I do think the instructions are a little vague, especially the "rear view mirror" application. Some have said it is a bit big compared to competitors and I was a little surprised at the size...but really not objectionable. It is very easy to program and I was glad the supplier gave a USB/cigarette lighter adapter...apparently some other suppliers don't, requiring a separate purchase.

very slow to find satellites.
The shipping was very good. I am a little disappointed with the ability of this unite to locate satellites at a reasonable speed, compared to GPS units right next to it. I have had to disconnect it and reconnect to activate this unit. If I were required to re connect (reboot) every time I started to use it; it could be disappointing and the unit might not be used as much as it could be.

Perfect.
Used this on my boat to verify what I suspected... boat speedometers suck.I’ve not used the heads up but I bounce this between my boat and 71’ F-250. It’s so nice to just glance at a DIGITAL number.

Good GPS based Digital Speedometer
A Good GPS Speedo unit for a vehicle. I used a Scosche MAGWM2 mount from Amazonto mount it very well to a dashboard for a relative who prefers a Speedo with numerals.Yes it is off by about 2 mph at 60 mph, but works perfectly for this application.Recommended. Much better than spending $ 30K for a new vehicle with digital speed.

Works great, seems to be built sturdy. More accurate and quicker responding than I expected. Replaced a glitchy near impossible to find and expensive speedometer in a 92 Toyota pickup. I would have given 5 stars except the overspeed beeper does not work on mine.

Set up was easy just follow instructions
Set up was easy just follow instructions. Could use a better stand to secure it. I used Velcro to secure it and that did a very good job. For the money you can't beat it.

Better than a speedometer
Really nice system to have, have very large pickup with very large tires, mounted unit on dash, cheaper than a speeding ticket.. use them in 3 of my vehicles
